Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a sunny day here with a high in the mid 50's. Not to much on my agenda today. Just need to finish up some laundry and continue the job hunt. Might do some more baking too. I'm out of muffins for breakfast. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Wednesday, all!

Well, we're in for two days of wind and rain, so I guess most of the leaves will be on the ground before Halloween.

I was listening to Christmas music on the way to work and getting great ideas for Santa Tracking music ... then I have to put them aside and get into office/work mode. Rats! It would be great to be able to spend the whole day on Christmas music programming, but it won't be today. It has been a grindingly busy week. (xmastidings, you won't think so!) 11 hours Monday, 9 hours yesterday. We'll see what today brings. Mr. is still busy with termination paperwork and networking and job-hunting.

Isn't that a bummer when you have to quit doing something you are really enjoying b/c you have to go to work!!! LOL! (I know - we're thankful to have work, but still a downer sometimes) I hope you both have a great day!

Thank you! He will soon be having an interview (not scheduled yet, but soon), and if that doesn't pan out, there's always freelance work and temp work until he finds something permanent. Things aren't so bad after all, but my nervous system is still on "high alert" part of the time. I just can't get my nerves to see the practical side of things!

Good luck to your hubby - keeping you both in my prayers!

I have never seen it ~ I would probably lose more sleep if I started watching that. LOL! (I'm a wimp) Enjoy!!!

I must listen to music while I work. It's too quiet, otherwise. It's still too early for Christmas music for me. I'm listening to some old Styx right now. Boy, that takes me back.

I agree can't have it too quiet in the office - we always have the tv on - and about 3 different radio stations in the shop. LOL! Gotta love Styx!!

Need to get myself motivated to get something productive done today, can't seem to drag myself away from Pinterest (finding some really awesome holiday ideas today!) and catching up on here. Think I will have one more cup of coffee and then I will force myself to do something productive lol :lol:

Happy Wednesday everyone. Woke up to a nice 35 degrees this morning. The forecast high is 57. Sad to say it won't last. High temps early next week are forecast to be in the upper 60s at our house and low 70s in the lower elevations. At least it is supposed to be dry. Can't wait for colder weather.

Our son left yesterday to head back to college. Fall break gave us a very nice long weekend together. We took a hike on the Appalachian Trail. It crosses just above our house. With the clear skies and fewer leaves, the views were awesome. Probably will not see him again until his birthday weekend, Nov 9. The house is once again very quiet.

Brad - Y'all should have nice weather up here next week except for the above normal temps. Leaf season is a little disappointing due to warm temps & a lot of rain.
