Christmas Countdown - 2014

Not everyone has replied yet, but so far we are having:



Turkey

Smoked Turkey

Dressing

7-layer salad

Green Bean Casserole

Cheesy Potatoes

Corn Casserole

Pumpkin Pies



I normally bring a pumpkin roll too....which I will if we are going to make it there in time to eat....and I'll also bring the bread cornucopia stuffed with cheeses & grapes.

[Classic Christmas]

Well, they predicted a lot of snow for us this week, and sure enough, it's a veritable winter wonderland out there now!

We got a foot of snow the last 36 hours, and now we are under a "lake effect" snow watch for another 4 inches until later tonight. It is a pain to shovel, but, wow, is it pretty. It truly looks like a picture from a Christmas card. Stunning.

Next up, a possible 4-8 inches next Tuesday from the next incoming system

Well, they predicted a lot of snow for us this week, and sure enough, it's a veritable winter wonderland out there now!

They want a lot of leftovers. Which I just cleaned out my freezer and threw out leftovers from last thanksgiving. So I don't think we need quite that much.





Oh we are having 8 side dishes and 4 desserts too. I think we are having more food this year then we did when we had 15 people for dinner.

That is totally crazy! That's a lot of food!!!!
