All I can think of after I saw the promo for Northpole 2, is the scene from Spaceballs where they are talking about the sequel to Spaceballs while making the first one. Of course the title was Spaceballs 2: The Quest for more money, so I am thinking Northpole 2: The Quest for More Money. cheesy

It was good, just not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a whole lot more of the North Pole in it from they way they had been promoting it. I can tell you my niece's wouldn't have watched it longer than 15 minutes or so.

no, there was not much of the north pole in it and it really did not get interesting until about half way though. I almost turned it off myself, but glad I did not.

I agree, it was just okay. It felt more like a commercial for all of the merchandise you see in the stores. The commercials made me think it was going to be a Christmas fantasy about the North Pole.

LOL... it was after all a "Hallmark" movie !
Do not get to watch many and was surprised to get to see this one, are they all loaded with hallmark products ? (one long commercial?)

Morning! Just changed all the sheets and threw some laundry in and about to go for a chilly run. I love running when it's cold outside! I pass the time looking for Christmas decorations!

We went to the mall yesterday and man was it packed!!! We drove around the parking lot for a good ten minutes before we got s far away spot! It was like Christmastime before online shopping! I loved the hustle and bustle and the kids talked to Santa and mrs. Claus.

Not sure what's on the agenda today. Would like to go to ikea to grab a floor lamp I need before I host Christmas but we will see!

Well they have been promoting for a year. Now it's time to see if North Pole lives up to the hype.

I watched it on Bravo too, I missed the first half hour and it isn't something I'll be looking forward to seeing again next year. The ending with the Elf saying, "Merry Christmas Everyone, Everywhere!" nearly spoiled it because she couldn't compete with Tiny Tim. I agree what others have said that a movie titled North Pole should have spent more time at the Pole.

:notice: We should all get together and make our own Christmas flick one of these days - wow, would that ever be MERRY!

Merry Christmas, everybody! Hope y'all have been having a great few days enjoying the season. I haven't been able to come back since we enjoyed brining the season in a few days ago. We went shopping last weekend for a few things and we had to go back today. Gosh, it's like the rest of the world kicked off the season, too. The grocery store and mall was packed! It is a mad house! I love it!

Shopping with my mom yesterday, I noticed how crazy busy the stores were - Christmas music is playing in every store - didn't hear it over the speakers at Walmart, but everywhere else including my car - there was merry music.

& I have to head back to the mall today because I was supposed to pick up a novelty shirt I was having made as one of my mom's gifts with a photo of her cat Pedro printed onto it. Last year, I added photos I've taken over the years to coffee mugs for several people on my list and my dad said she liked her Pedro mug the best of everything she got last year. I couldn't pick it up yesterday because she was with me.

Thinking of making one for myself with Mr. O'Malley cat on it.

I love the malls that way too, also fun to just sit and watch the people run around and shop.
Our nearest Ikea store is 1 1/2 hour drive from here, but I do enjoy going from time to time, they have such unique stuff.
