Good Morning MMC !!!
First batch of raisin bread rising in the oven, only 5 batches to go!
All our snow is gone, the tree is not decorated yet, decorations have to be put up outside, I am sooo behind! Our big family celebration is on Saturday (that is what all the raisin bread is for, mom gives everyone a loaf every Christmas).
I think that we will do the decorating on Sunday while enjoying the worlds biggest Christmas party !

You know what I've been craving for, is some bread pudding, just can't find that any more as much as you used to. My grandmother used to make that all of the time (with raisins in it), all man....It was to die for~
Sooo, with your's and Star's posts so far this morning, I would think a good start to a "Yabba day" would mean, a hot fresh cup of coffee, a warm slice of raisin bread and some "Lovemas" music, playing in the background~:!!

Of course the first loaf out of the oven has to be eaten for quality control! It will be out in about 2 hours, come over and we will try it together over a mug of candy cane hot chocolate.
my dad used to make a good bread pudding, I wonder if mom knows that recipe ?
ours was only out for a week and I feel the same way!
some day they will have a way to send smells over the net!
the house should smell great by the end of today! And I should be good and sore with all the kneading to do. This is my only day off this week, it has to be done in time for Saturdays family party.

Days to Christmas Day: 15
Two weeks from tomorrow, Guys!
We are so closing in.
Nasty day yesterday.
Cold, no sun and a never-ending rain. Had to walk the dog in it and dry him off with a towel.
(Never put a dog away wet!)
Hopefully, today will be better, but it has started off damp and still cold at 35 degrees here in central NC.
