Hubby likes the Three Stooges. His BIL is a district attorney, and one Christmas we got BIL a framed poster with the Dewey, Cheatem, & Howe law firm photograph.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's a bit chilly here right now with a temp of -8. We should get up into the upper 20's this afternoon though. They are talking a pattern change next week that could bring in 50 degree temps. I say bring it on!!!! Once again, I'm sitting here waiting on the three stooges. They are supposed to be bringing me a new sink and faucet now. I asked for the faucet because mine has been dripping if it's not in the exact right spot. Mark said he would throw in a new sink too since mine is pretty scratched up. (Plus it's easier for him to do both) Other than that, I'll just be here cleaning and trying to stay warm. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually above zero this morning!! We are at 9 degrees, and it's snowing! We got about 3 inches overnight, and are expecting around 3 more by the end of the day.

Har & I are going to have a fun walk this morning =) She loves playing in the fresh snow!

California is in a drought, but we really need to at least finish up enough to get the framing done and part of the roof on. Then Hubby can work inside!

LOL!!! Here it is north or south of I-70. I live right by the interstate though. So we never know what to expect!!!


It is amazing how much the temperature can vary though. Monday night the city only got down to -4. The airport up the street form me got down to -17 though. So that is a difference of 13 degree's in 12 miles. Last night was the same. The city only got down to -2 but we got down to -13.

It seems that weather gets weirder and weirder the older I get, LOL!

Up here, it's 495 and 128. The forecast can vary according to whether you're "inside" or "outside" one of those routes, or if you're south/east or north/west of one of them. Our town is between the two, so some forecasts are a puzzle.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a cold, wet day! We are apparently on the outside edge of the ice, so it's just rain here, but a lot of it! And I just got my driveway holes filled in and leveled out. Doggone it. Nancy is never careful with that. I bet my drive is all squishy with ruts from her car. I'll have to buy a new shovel this weekend, I guess.

I took Nancy for her eye exam yesterday afternoon. The doctor took an image of her eye, then said she had a real problem and would need medical attention pretty soon. We were getting worked up, then he said, "Wait. There's a smudge on the machine lens. Let's try it again."

It was clear. I could have throttled him.

Anyway, we got home so late, I missed out on the county commissioners' meeting. At least something good came of it! :mrgreen:

I was sitting here wondering if you were getting it or not in your area...

Me, right now if things hold it's course, I'm putting on my hard hat and battening down the hatches getting ready for a serious thumping...LOL! Nah, I'm good, I got 25 gallons of gas in cans, generator is ready to go, got firewood, plenty of Christmas movies, my honey and food; what else do I need...Oh yea, storms a coming, gotta run out and get toilet paper and milk~

Don't forget the bread!!

They are pretty nice here though. Rent is due by the 10th but there has been several times that I forgot about it and didn't pay it until the 11th or 12th and they have never charged me the late fee.
