Take care, Merry Bells. It is so difficult to get work done when you feel so badly. Put your feet up and try to relax!

I am soooooo sick today. I'd like to be home in bed, but I'm behind in my work so I came in. I might as well have stayed home, as all I've done is cough, blow my nose, and stare at the computer screen. This is the third cold I've had since the new year (the fourth since just before Christmas), I just can't seem to keep away from them this year. Maybe I'll just call it a day and get out of here, as I'm not getting any work done anyway. Ugh!

:-P

I watched that show, too, Xmas, and for some reason didn't remember the theme song. Of course, at that time, I didn't have a honey to sit with me on the couch either. I probably would have remembered it then, LOL!

I honestly don't remember that theme song, I remember watching the show though.
They just don't have the TV show theme song like they use to, except for maybe "The Big Bang Theory," they are a thing of the past.

Ok, here it is they finalized their predictions for the snowfall amounts:

12:45 PM EST 2/12 SIGNIFICANT TO MAJOR

WINTER STORM MOVING FROM

SOUTHEAST TO MID-ATLANTIC In the words of NOAA Weather Prediction Center's Heavy Snow Discussion (from earlier on Tuesday)
" A WINTER STORM WITH HIGH SOCIETAL IMPACT IS IMMINENT ACROSS THE SOUTHERN TIER OF THE COUNTRY AND VERY LIKELY TO PROCEED UP THE EAST COAST ON WED AND THURS... ESSENTIALLY EXTENDING FROM THE LOWER MS VALLEY TO NEW ENGLAND OVER THE THREE DAY PERIOD.

SYNOPSIS – With the start time of this event inside the 12-24 hour window, our Winter Stormcast Team has finalized accumulations.

"I do believe in snow, I do, I do, I do....!!!"

A little Wizard of OZ parody...

I like that timeline of the precip intensity ... useful little graphic!
I'm glad you're all prepared so you can "enjoy" the storm.
:snowball:

It is so funny that you say they should just wait until the snow flies and then measure it. I always say that to my husband about the rain predictions, LOL! But with the remodeling, he has to keep track of the predictions and percentage of expected rain. Like right now, it is 30% prediction we will get rain. He uses those predictions to gauge his building schedule.

In NC, the prediction of snow is centered around whether people live north and west of I-85 or south and east of I-85. What is so funny is that I-85 goes right through the town I used to live in, so I guess some people would get snow on one side of the interstate and not the other, huh?

I have seen 3 different totals this morning alone. One said 3-6, the next said 6-10, and the last said 8-12. They should just wait until the snow flies and then measure it. Then it would be accurate. cheesy I think it is because we are right on the line of snow-heavy snow. I am just happy I am not scheduled to work tomorrow because I worked on Sunday.

Interesting!!

Praying that the rain subsides so your DH can get back to the remodel, friend.

I hate feeling like I can't afford to be away from work when I'm sick. I hope you feel better fast!

Hopefully the doctor apologized for his BIG mistake! What if he had caused a patient a heart attack? Sheesh! Glad it turned out for good! We have been getting rain a lot this past week. That is slowing us down in the remodeling, though.
He did apologize, but he didn't offer to reduce his charge...LOL!

Upper management expects you to push everyone else so they don't come off as expecting miracles. But, I bet they would take all the credit and none of the blame!

It should be fine, the only thing I worry about is the upper management pushing their demands without getting their hands dirty. They want 178 things done but won't do anything to help you, especially today I will be by myself until 5:30pm. No matter what I do today will not be good enough, and if I ask for help they will look at me like I have 3 heads, and if I don't ask for help they will ask me why didn't I ask for help. (that's when I start thinking of the real answer I want to give them but never do) cheesy

Yeah. Except we usually hear about I-95 as the dividing line here in Raleigh.

OK.
A head's up!

Power outages are predicted here for this evening and tomorrow morning. If so, yours truly will not be able to post tomorrow's count.

If the count is not up by 8:00-8:30 or so tomorrow, you can assume I'm without power here.
Then, if some enterprising soul can post it, I would be most appreciative.

(That will insure there won't be a problem with a count gap --- bad luck, you know!)

Thanks!

Evening . We are into the storm. Up to 100mph wind! Im not so sure a couple of our trees are going to stay put lol. Hope you all are having a good day. Hoping not to lose power. Xx

Hope it doesn't rain and that Construction can stay on schedule!!!

LOL!!! Here it is north or south of I-70. I live right by the interstate though. So we never know what to expect!!!

It is amazing how much the temperature can vary though. Monday night the city only got down to -4. The airport up the street form me got down to -17 though. So that is a difference of 13 degree's in 12 miles. Last night was the same. The city only got down to -2 but we got down to -13.

That is some STRONG winds. Praying that you stay safe and warm, and not lose power.

xo

Up here, it's 495 and 128. The forecast can vary according to whether you're "inside" or "outside" one of those routes, or if you're south/east or north/west of one of them. Our town is between the two, so some forecasts are a puzzle.
