Good evening!
I'm still waiting for my hubby to get home, he stayed late at his shop to work on the kitchen cabinets.
I never made it to the Christmas Tree Shop this afternoon, I'll have to go another day. My daughter canceled the interview she had this afternoon because she got a call from another store and they offered her a job. She starts tomorrow. She'll be working for Wilson's Leather in the outlets.
My throat feels a little scratchy this evening. I'm hoping its allergies and I'm not coming down with anything.
I'm feeling very sleepy so I'm going to get ready for bed.

I am 100% exhausted, I will be quick.

Busy day at work.

The hockey game was great, the Springfield Falcons won 3-0 over the Adirondack Phantoms. Just seeing the boys faces as we got right down next to the boards at ice level as the players were warming up was awesome. One player crashed into the glass on purpose and scared the boys. We all made it on to the jumbotron TV screens above center ice. I will post some pictures soon.


I need to get to sleep, just popping in because I can't stay away. cheesy

Obviously, Carl's theme will have to do with being at the 1/4 mark to Christmas Day.

Everything a quarter off? Four fired twinkies for the price of 3? Who knows.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Milestone Day and Pines Day, all rolled into one...look out, world!

The meeting at the county commissioner's office was not what I thought it would be. I finally got my whole council to come with me, and it was just a boring discussion about 911 dispatching software. I'm gonna run out of Calgon soon.

Dinner tonight with a work client, then a plant tour tomorrow.

Good morning!
Well there was no Spring snowstorm for us. There was barely a dusting over night. But it is really cold and windy out there. I hope the winds die down, it's making it feel so much worse.
I don't have a lot going on today, I'll just be working on the usual chores. My youngest has a job interview at the outlets later this afternoon. I'm going to take a ride with her and browse around inside the Christmas Tree Shop during her interview.

Good Morning! Day 4 on here! I am actually reading and posting, 4 days in a row! Hopefully I can continue this streak. I miss this place when I cannot make it here.

I am sitting here with my morning coffee in my Christmas mug and my granddaughter asked for hot chocolate in a Christmas mug so we can have our morning hot drink together! I am not sure what is planned for today so I hope we can find something interesting and fun to do!

When I have the time and I'm tempted, I don't usually venture there for fear of repeating something that was already posted. I'm not able to follow the games every day, so I can't keep track of what was already said (yeah, I COULD read through all the posts that have come before, but that's a lot of reading!).

I never worry about repeat posts...I just post whatever, that's the fun of it! Come on over!!!

Happy Milestone Day, Everyone!!!!! It was a cold morning here with a temp of 14 degree's. We should get up to 40 later this afternoon though. Lots of running today. Already took mom to work and ran by grocery store. Now I'm home for a few hours to get some stuff done before I have to run to the post office to mail my sister's box, pick mom back up from work, Run to the north side to her appointment with a Vascular Surgeon, and then back out to her regular doctor's office for them to check her blood levels again. Whew. I'm tired just thinking of it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoping her appointment and all went well today!

Hard to believe we are half way the week. I don't have anything to do at the campus today so I will probably start my research for my online blog I am going to start. (I will bring the subject I am studying - environmental science - and my are of interested - food security/sustainable food production - together.) We will see how it goes.

A day of Christmas movies sounds great. I didn't get to see a single one. Bummer! Gracie is now 14.9 lbs - the little piggy! Doubled her weight in a month.

She did, thanks! She outgrew her heart murmur. Wew! I was so glad to hear that. She got her Lepto vaccine last night though - she was so sore. She wasn't even bothering Buster. We couldn't pick her up or pet her - she would squeal. BUT she's back to her rotten little self this morning! :grin:

Glad to hear the appointment went well and everything seems to be going well with her heart.

I just got back from lunch with my mom, aunt and granddaughter. Afterward we went to the Arboretum just to walk around for an hour. I am so happy this place is so close to home and have unlimited visits for the year. Regular admission is 18 bucks for adults but we paid the one time membership fee for the year to go as often as we want. The Children's Garden is like a giant playground and my grandchildren love it! The whole Arboretum is huge so we get plenty of exercise walking around there.
