Good Morning, Weary Weekend Wanderers Wanting Wassail Wonders.
Straight to the count:
Days to the Season: 229
Days to Christmas Day: 271
And the numbers tell us that the 200-day Season Window will be cranked open in just barely over 4 weeks, but preceeding that by a day, we will reach the 1/3 Christmas Day mark.
Two Milestones in two days.
Wowzeringos!!
Reasonably warm yesterday but rain began falling in the early evening and continued overnight. It's still coming down lightly as I type this and is predicted to contiunue off and on all day today and perhaps tomorrow as well.
(At least it no longer feels like winter rain!)
Right now, we record 58.2 degees here on our digital thermometer.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Friends.
And may your Weekend be the best!
Hope you're feeling better today.
So then, Friday evening with a glass of Merlot and Disney's Christmas Carol.
Football (or Soccer?) with the boys tomorrow and Sunday am...
Mrs TSAH's birthday and Mother's Day on Sunday...
No work on Monday as I am taking the last day of my vacation entitlement for the year...
Do weekends get any better!!!

Good Morning Snowflake, Happy Saturday!!!
My granddaughter is staying the weekend with her other grandma. She talked to her mom last night and told her, "We are going to watch a Charlie Temper movie"! She was talking about Shirley Temple. Ha ha!
We made it safe through the storm yesterday. Last night I watched Christmas with the Kranks.
I hope you all have a Sensational Saturday!!!
What a lovely thing for your DH to do!
That question occurred to me, too. *smiles*
I knew you were going to answer this way ~ lol.

Good morning!
We are expecting rain today with temperatures in the mid 40's.
Not too much going on for me today, which is good because I still feel yucky. I'm happy I got my food shopping out of the way yesterday. I didn't make it to the butcher though, so I need to do that at some point today. Other than that, I'll be working on some chores around the house and hopefully taking it easy. Oh and my husband wants me to look at pictures of kitchens on line, we're trying to decide on a finish for the cabinets. They're still not completely finished but he's getting there.
I hope everyone is well and has a very happy Saturday!!!
LOL!!!! He knows how to cheer you up after a long night at work!!!!
You better make an appointment to have your heart checked before you go!!!!
I think her DH comes in a close second behind Luke.
Kinda sounds like me. I have a picture of Paul McCartney as the background on my phone. Wayne has a picture of me!
Whew!!!! What a day!!!!
The children's museum was fun. It's pretty small though and filled up quick. So we only stayed a couple of hours. My niece's favorite thing was the area where you got to see how things in a house work. More specifically this-
After we left the museum we went across the street to an area called The Commons. They have several restaurants there and a giant indoor playground for the kids that I wanted to play on to-
Then since it was still early in the day, I drove the 15 miles to the biggest state park in Indiana and spent the afternoon driving around to different playgrounds and stopping at lookouts like this-
My dream is to one day retire in this area of the state in a beautiful log cabin.
That's all in fun and Wayne laughs about it but forgot to mention this. When my little doggy Chico was alive we use to tease how I loved him more than Wayne. Chico and Wayne would be in the same room and I would say, "I love you" Wayne would say, "I love you too"! I would reply back, "I was talking to Chico"!!! We cut up a lot as you can tell!!!
I sure do miss my Chico!!!
I am thinking about watching Christmas with the Kranks or maybe Christmas Vacation again!
