Good evening!
Holy Moly I have a lot of reading to do, you have all been very talkative today. I was busy running errands and cleaning most of the day. I made some progress. I finished cleaning my bedroom and bathroom and also my walk in closet that was a disaster area. I will tackle another part of the house tomorrow. I also decided to run to the supermarket for a few things because we have snow heading our way tomorrow night. They were out of so many things, I don't know if it was because of the snow or if it was from people shopping for New Years. I have to go to my butcher in the morning because there was hardly any meat in the supermarket. Then as I was getting out of my car, the door kind of collided with my face and now I have a swollen eye that is black and blue! I have no idea how I did that, probably because I'm always in a rush. I'm really tired and I'm going to turn in soon. I hope everyone had a very happy first day of 2014. I will see you in the morning.

Whoo Hoo!! It's good to see everyone here and ready to rock the countdown for 2014! I hope everyone had a phenomenal Christmas and is ready to have a great new year. I am going to try to keep up with all the posts this year but they are already coming fast and furious lol (and that's a good thing). Between school for me starting back on the 13th and homeschool for the boys starting back next Monday, keeping up here, and the chance of snow (yeah right) I'm going to be good and busy for the next little while.

Dang y'all! 500 posts in the first day! Awesome!



Today was awesome! Got a lot around the house done and put a few things together. Cleaned Dr. Wifey's car and my car, watched some football, and did a lot of work. It was nice.



We also visited with Little Bambina's babysitter. She starts on Monday. She is a family friend. I coached both of her boys in high school baseball and we have remained close throughout the years. I couldn't be happier with who is doing it!



Officially, I report for duty in the morning. Just admin is working tomorrow and teachers are back Friday. It will be a nice day and a lot will get done.



I'm off to read the rest of the boards. Good night!

I'm glad you found someone to watch Little Bambina who you can trust and has been is a good friend. That's what counts most.

none what so ever, only thing different was half a glass of a fruit wine my daughter bought, but wine never bothered me before.
I did go back to sleep about an hour later.
Stomach still kind of queasy this morning, but better than when I woke.

:-D Good morning you beautiful Christmas loving folks~ Oh it was a frosty one this morning....It's the prelude to what is going to happen tonight.

From the sounds of things, I'm going to have to get out of here (work) by late afternoon before all the lovely white stuff starts falling and sticking to the ground. The distance (travel time) from where I used to live (10 miles) and where I just moved to now, is about a 40 mile difference (one way) trip to work, so I want to make sure I leave enough travel time so I can get back home.

It's quiet around here at the office right now, only just a few of us are in so far, hopefully it will be a nice quiet day, get a lot of things done and then get out of here early. Have a great day; talk with you soon~:rudolph:

How do you catch up???!! Raising little ones and working full time and manage to stay caught up? You are Super Woman! Well, I do babysit my 3 grandchildren and have a part time job but even in my down time after the kids go home I cannot catch up on here. I guess at that time I am super busy with the fur kids! Ha ha! I try to stay caught up but get busy with something.

I busted out laughing at this! Describes me perfectly this holiday season. All year long I eat very healthy and usually do during the holidays too but I blew it that past Christmas season then Snow-in-Texas bought me 3 boxes of chocolates. My tummy has been in terrible shape! I did not finish the chocolates, ate half and gave the rest to Snow-in-Texas. I can't indulge in anything rich and unhealthy without becoming ill. No fun!!! I want to live on the Elf Diet all the time!

Cookies and candies, we have tons leftover!

We have chocolate chip, peanut butter blossoms, snickerdoodles just in cookies.
We have peppermint bark, Ghirardelli chocolates (2 bags), Iddy Buddy Santas (chocolates), M&M's peanut and plain, cotton candy, candy canes, and a bunch I don't remember. I think an elf would be very happy here. cheesy

The school cancellations are now up to 32, but our town is still not on the list, yet.

I have to take my mother in law and her dog to the vet tomorrow, her dog is 16 years old and he hasn't eaten anything in a week. We have all wheel drive now, so I volunteered to bring them so she doesn't miss the appointment due to the weather. If you all could, please say a prayer or a thought for her dog Billy, he isn't doing too well.

My prayers are on the way for Billy and your MIL. I saw in a later post of yours that school was canceled in your town - congratulations on the extra day(s) with your family! Be safe!!!

I told Carl you wanted something fun and he said he had just the thing!!! Then he pulled out a wooden box with a lock on it and got out a bottle of something that I had never seen before. He only put a few drops in the glass and then mixed it with some of his more conventional drinks and said that we would be more than plenty to help you have a great night!!!
