When my son was two and three, we had to watch Curious George about three times a day! I can still quote that movie word for word. :)

EA will watch pretty anything, when it comes to children's programming, but when DS is involved, he influences her, then they both decide they want to watch the same thing over and over again for days to weeks. As long as they are also playing and doing their educational activities, I am fine with it. I will just smile and just go with it. I am just blessed that I can enjoy the fact that they can watch it over and over again!

Snowflake, lots of talk of going ahead and proactively closing schools for Monday and Tuesday. So far though, no announcements of it.
I remember horribly cold temps in 1996 and forecasters are saying it will be as cold or colder than that...eek!
I hope you are feeling better...my youngest son is feeling lousy with a respiratory virus as well.
Get lots of rest dear girl!

I hope your youngest son is better soon!

We are watching "Alias Boston Blackie" (1942)---it takes place on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So fitting with all the snow outside! Our tree is still up, so I turned on the lights an opened the curtain so passers-by could see it with the snow outside. It will be coming down this weekend or during the week. It will be the last of the decorations to be put away, except for the "winter lights" on the hedge out front. They'll have to wait until the temps come up a bit.

That sounds like a lovely evening! I like Boston Blackie movies. Discovered him on TCM one month when they were playing a lot of mysteries and crime movies. Of all the satellite channels I used to get that is one I really miss!

What a lovely thing to see on my drive home. An orange kite in the blue, blue sky. The wind is creating some allergic reactions in my family though.

Nice photo - love the contrast in colors and the glimpse of the countryside!

Just popping in! I hope I can catch up in an hour or so.

It has been an uneventful day and an unsuccessful one in terms of finding jobs to apply for. I hope I can find something that I am interested in soon. I don't want to apply just to apply.

How are you all doing?

We will be undecorating the tree tomorrow - BOO!

Hi, Jennifer! Praying an interesting job comes along for you!

I agree, but this is one of the few remakes that I still enjoy- such a heartwarming movie

It doesn't hurt that Dylan McDermott is in it ;)

No, indeed it doesn't!

Look at the bib I saw in Target the other day. I know it says blame it on the sugar but BlameSugar was jumping out at me, lol. I had to take a picture!

The soundtrack to the remake is amazing! I bought it a few years back, and it is one of my favorites to get out each year.

I didn't get around to listening to that this year - something to play later this week!

tree is down and put away in storage to come out again in just 314 days from now the Lord willing.
I am slowly putting the rest of my Christmas items away in their boxes.
Then I have to put the room back to its regular shape.

Good Morning MMC!!!! The calm before the storm is here and everyone is taking advantage of it. The stores are just crazy. I survived though and now I'm ready to hunker down for a few days!! I'm going to try to get a few things done in the next couple of hours and then it will be time for the Colts game this afternoon!!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

They were crazy out here, too!

DS is still going strong...at least I am watching one of my movies now though! Watching "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". It's one of my favorite Hallmark movies!

Mine, too! I just adore Henry Winkler's character!

Hey everybody! Hope this finds y'all doing great. Dr. Wifey and I took the baby and went out to eat and get some baby stuff. Seems like that's all we do....lol. She starts her full-time babysitter on Monday, so we had to get some for her house.

I don't know about y'all, but it's about to get really cold here. Some of my friends up North are getting it worse than us, but it rarely gets single digits here...I may freeze what little hair I have left off my head. That would be tragic! A little snow is coming our way, also. WalMart was crazy tonight, so we didn't go. They say an inch of snow/ice down here and people go crazy.

Well, I will see y'all in the morning! Have a good one!

Stay safe and warm, Coach!

Back to watching Trading Christmas! I had this on earlier, but I didn't get to finish it. I love this one as well!

The book is even better!
