Thanks! We do have wonderful & fun neighbors! If we would ever decided to move, it would be hard to leave them!!



Good morning. My plan was to get caught up on here today, but you all have been BUSY!!!! :lol: I will try, but this darn work thing...



It was a whopping 6º this morning. Heat wave!!! HA! I hope you are all staying warm 'n toasty!! I feel freezing in the office today - worse than yesterday. Hmmmm! Maybe I'm chilled to the bone & can't warm up!? Too many days of COLD! We are supposed to be up to 40º with rain on Saturday. Bye bye snow! BUT we have a chance of flurries today & snow tomorrow, so I'll enjoy!!



I still have my Christmas up. Thinking about taking it down tonight - or maybe not! Not ready!

It's Wednesday, my late day, but I am only scheduled til 8pm due to the hours being cut. I really, really, really don't want to go. I have got such a stomachache from not wanting to go in today.
Just relaxing watching "Invasion of the Christmas Lights" not one of my favorites but I am trying get through my DVR before I erase some of the ones I won't save.

My car had trouble starting this morning, I thought I was going to have to walk the boys to school. I was able to start it right before we had to walk.

I hope you all enjoy your day.

Our back roads have finally been cleared of all the ice and snow except in some places where it melted and refroze up again. With the temps getting back up into the 50's for this weekend and they are calling for rain, now everything (the ground) will be saturated and most likely a mud mess until spring; LOL!!!

How's things around your area?

Ahhhh, it (the weather) doesn't deter me though, I've been going outside regardless what the weather does. Although, I have to admit, it was soooo cold out yesterday, the night before and last night, that when I went outside to bring in some more firewood, the air felt like it was burning on my face and hands. It sure felt a lot better standing in front of the fireplace....cheesy

We are still very cold, high of 1 degree. It was -16 this morning.

I hope you're all keeping as warm and cozy as possible! Hang in there for a few more days!

It's cold here today, but not like most of you are getting. It's 18*F, going for a high of 19*F today and a low of 14*F tonight. Like some of you, we're supposed to get into the 50s this weekend.

A bit chilly at the office today. I think the cold air is creeping in, because I can feel a chill especially around my feet and legs. Earlier a fan was blowing constantly and it was driving me nuts. It wasn't particularly cold air, but it just ... wouldn't ... stop! I was wearing a hoodie over my sweater to keep off the draft.

Last night was a bit hectic, but nice. We made our airline and hotel reservations for our vacation in June. (Yes, we plan ahead!) To calm down afterward I worked on a digital file I made of one of my Christmas LPs, splitting it into the individual songs and filling in the MP3 tags. It sounds very nice! I'm looking forward to doing more of these throughout the year and re-discovering Christmas music in my collection that I haven't heard in a long time.

My birthday day is winding down, my wife surprised me by picking up some stuffed chicken breasts because I have been saying I have been craving chicken croquettes. Only one place around here sells them and they are nearly 30 minutes away. So she tried to get the closest thing she could find, she is awesome. She also picked up a whoopee pie and a small cake for me.

Her and the boys also got me a new Santa Claus for my birthday present, she picked up for me on Black Friday from Kohl's.

It has been a great birthday, especially for my last one in my 30's.



I will post a picture of him after the one I won Ebay gets here.

Sounds like you had a very special birthday.

Thanks...she loves Barbie! She wanted to change their clothes but midway through decided she was done. She said, "I'm going to just leave them naked. Caden will pass out when he sees them!" I don't know where she got that, but I had to leave the room laughing.

It was all over the news this morning. They said sixteen people had died.



To lighten the mood, they stated someone had escaped from jail and was on the run but later turned himself in because he couldn't handle the cold. :lol:

So sad for the people and their families. Prayers.
