Another house got all their glass windows and doors broken to. It seems like it is a group of idle people going around to good neighbourhoods to cause trouble. My brother had all the glass replaced and will be having some security cameras installed. She is really shaken up still but she is ok. Thank you again.

That is horrible, a group of people with nothing else to do but go around and destroying things.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy where the high today is only going to get into the low 30's. The weathermen was also wrong last night when they said no snow. When I woke up this morning, there was a nice coating on everything and it's still coming down. Plus they are saying another 2 inches tomorrow and another 2 inches Friday. More cleaning and organizing for me today. Oh the fun!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Thanks Festive. Running cold water was the first thing I did. It still hurts and the skin is angry red and raised. I can't find the burn cream but I think there's some aloe somewhere. I'll try that.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy where the high today is only going to get into the low 30's. The weathermen was also wrong last night when they said no snow. When I woke up this morning, there was a nice coating on everything and it's still coming down. Plus they are saying another 2 inches tomorrow and another 2 inches Friday. Yes, pile ups all over the state. And 10 semi's on I-94 crashed/Jack knifed. They had to close westbound right near us

That's what happens when they don't send out the plows. So sad.

I didn't sleep well last night because they come @ 9:30, and were in our area half the night. Snowblowers, shovels, etc.

Glad they finally came, but ridiculous that they keep people up half the night. Backing up, beeping, etc.

Sorry you had such a tough night to sleep, but at least you could get to work. cheesy I always find the beeping of the plow trucks the worst while you try to sleep because it is so close to sounding like an alarm clock.

Yup, you sure are right about that one.... It seems like every time I turn around, there's ice, snow, sleet, freezing rain and oh get this one, this morning, it was freezing fog...I kid you not! It was foggy, and the temperature of the roads where I live were just at that point where it made black ice. The salt trucks were already out and about at 5:00am and thankfully, they already hit the back roads where I live. My driveway was a sheet of ice though.

I got the appraisal for the accident yesterday; 3,000.00 dollars!!!! ouch. There's not much I can do about it either, the truck has to get fixed, I'm in the process of trying to get them to go with after market parts in lieu of Ford parts, in order to try to reduce the costs somewhat...We'll see what happens!

Good afternoon everyone!

It's been ages since I my last visit. My computer at home (I mean in Lithuania) operates incredibly slowly (it needs to be fixed) and it takes me ages to use Internet or post in forums and, well, I am not patient that much to wait for half an hour to get my browser opened and my post posted. ^^ Anyway, I am now back in Scotland and back to my laptop. ^^

Home was nice. I managed to see some of my friends, my cousins and spend some time with family. :] I have started new semester at the uni today so I am back on track!

I hope that everyone is well and doing fine. I hope that this year will be much better and more successful than previous year for everyone of you.

Christmasstar, that is great to have a future chef in the family!!! The college that my daughter teaches at has a Culinary school there. The teachers and their family get to go and be part of grading their cooking by eating the food they make. I got to go with her one time and get a free gourmet meal and we grade it. It's yummy and fun!

Good luck to your son! I know he will do well!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to the meeting at the county commissioner's hall last night, and it was not too bad. I thought it would be a fight over who controls the fire department, since that's been the hot topic lately. Instead, we discussed ways to attract more industry to the area, in an effort to get more young folks interested in staying in our county. Not too bad!

Elizabeth found out that she and her best friend were among the 12 dancers selected for participation in the Spring production of The Music Man! There were dozens of dancers trying out, and we were trying to make sure she didn't get her hopes too high. It turns out, we should have had more faith in her abilities. She is so happy, and I'm so proud!

Good morning,

It is my least favorite day of the week, I really don't want to go in to work.
I think I am starting to come down with something, I feel that telltale sign of a scratchy throat, pressure in my sinuses. This is always fun while working in the cold.

Just relaxing before heading in, I already made my dinner for tonight so i can relax just a little bit longer.

Good morning!
I just got in a little while ago from an early morning doctor appointment. Just a yearly routine appointment, hopefully all is well. I will know in a few days.
My youngest got her car back last night and everything is taken care of, the taillight is fixed and the inspection and oil change are done. She was very happy to drive herself in this morning. I dropped her off at school yesterday and she complained the whole way there about how embarrassing it was for me to be driving her in, lol. Such a drama queen! Anyway, my oldests car is also due for an oil change and the it needs to be inspected by the end of the month. She is off from work today so I think we will bring the car in and get it over with. I want to get it over with before she heads back to school, the new semester will begin next week.
Not too much else going on for me, just a couple of errands and chores to do.

Thanks for thinking of DS. He had a fever over night, but is okay this morning. I truly think it must be a viral infection.
