Good afternoon,
I stayed home from work again today, I just am not feeling well enough to go in, and the fact I work with food also figures in.
The Bruins are on again so I get to enjoy it, but I am hoping I nod off while watching for a little nap.
I hope you all are having a good day.

Happy Monday, all! It looks like we're going to have some snow tomorrow....I'm so excited! I've got all my supplies ready; hot chocolate, potpies, sweat shirts, fuzzy socks, and brand new boots. Hooray!
Good MERRY Monday morning, Christmas family!
Since the cold is most definitely back I have plans to make pumpkin soup later this afternoon. I already made the dough for the loaf of crusty bread I am going to bake ~ added a lot of black pepper and some spiced Parmesan so it should warm me up if the soup doesn't do the trick!
Be safe and warm!
Your soup sounds wonderful! Exactly what that cold needs.
Stay safe & warm in the snow!
Stay safe and warm! Safe travels in that snow. Hope you feel better soon!
so far I have dropped off LittleCS at her home, took son to pharmacy to get his prescription refilled, vacuumed, cleaned up half the kitchen, put dough in bread machine that will be buns when done.
Tried to get caught up here, but not there yet.
We are clearing out all of our VHS tapes, thrift stores will not take them anymore, anyone have ideas what to do with them?

Buns are ready !
When I was a little kid my favorite show in the world was "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood," I remember my parents being annoyed by that show and picking on him.
I guess every generation has an annoying kids show that an adult could never love.
The show that annoyed me that my kids watched was "The Backyardigans," I could not stand it.

Yum!! You're making it just the way I like it. We don't have soup much here because the family are not fans.

Good afternoon!
I'm having a quick cup of coffee before I get started on some more chores. I also need to make biscuits to go with my chicken soup. I ran a few errands earlier, I wanted to go to the supermarket but it was so crowded. I got a parking spot and went in to the deli department first to get some cold cuts. I took a number and realized there were about 20 people ahead of me. It was ridiculous, I decided to leave. I will go early tomorrow morning, hopefully they will still have everything that I need.
My youngest is home from school today and she has been begging me to take her to get her belly button pierced. I don't really want her to do it. She's been relentless and now I feel a headache coming on. I would have been better off staying in the supermarket. She just left to get a manicure so I have a few minutes of peace!
I hope everyone is having a great day so far!
Talk to you later!
Wow, I hadn't seen that map. It does look like Maryland is right in the thick of it. Looks like we'll get the edge of it, unless that snow area shifts. Stay safe! (And don't forget your bread, milk, and eggs!)
He got hooked on it at daycare and now has to watch it here at home. They still show it on PBS and a channel called Sprout, which is a 24-hour kids channel, affiliated with PBS, that my kids love. It is like Disney Jr. and Nick Jr. - very educational. They also show they shows and movies on Netflix, so he goes nuts!
