Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're in the middle of the mad dash to get ready for church, so I can't stay long.

Elizabeth and her bestie (Besty? How would you spell that?) were invited to take the SAT while they are in 7th grade, so they did that yesterday, then they went to their first practice for The Music Man play, so I spent the day in Statesboro.

When we got home, I went to work for a couple hours. It's much easier to get stuff done when the phone isn't ringing and the emails aren't piling up.

I'm looking forward to a quiet day today...I hope.

Sunday morning, the snow has stopped and no more expected for a few days. So now we dig out and try to find things like sidewalks and parking lots.

Good Morning, Star!!!! Stay safe while trying to shovel out!! We are supposed to get another couple of inches today and the wind is supposed to kick back up this afternoon. So I don't know how much progress we are going to make at digging out here. They are out trying to find the side roads again though.

How are you today?

We got another 4.5 inches of snow overnight. It is truly beautiful!!
Harlowe & I took an early morning walk in it, before the rest of the world was up. I just love those walks with her! So serene.

Adrian just left to go see his parents, and help with some shoveling and projects around the house.

So, Har and I are going to work on some things around here, and then watch a Christmas movie. But first, I need some coffee!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a weird day here with snow, wind, warming temps, and then plummeting temps. So basically, just a normal sunday here this winter. Not a whole lot going on for me today. Just have a few things to do around the house and then I'll probably have some shoveling to do later this afternoon. I'm also watching the last few hours of the 24 hours of Daytona race. It's my dream to go down there and watch it in person one year. They show all these people camping in the infield with their roaring fires in the middle of night while the cars go roaring past them and it looks like a lot of fun. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Boy, I don't know what I have caught, but it is wearing me out. I don't want to be graphic, but I'm sick as it gets. It has been a long, long night. Started about 1:00 am and has been relentless since. I'm about to lay down and sleep because I haven't yet.

I hope this clears up for you SOON. Be sure to keep hydrated. When this happened to me the E.R. told me that even if I can't keep anything down, take a few spoonfuls of water several times an hour. It's easy to get dangerously dehydrated, no matter which end (ahem) is giving you trouble.

 

[Holiday]

We've had an explosion in coyotes here. There was a couple spotted last week at the end of my street in the woods. There has also been a lot on the south side of Indy.

Indy is too close to us when it comes to coyotes...I really dislike them! My brother/sil have a terrible problem with them in Cape Cod. They really have to watch when they put their Yorkshire Terrier outside! UGH! PLEASE don't send them this direction!!! We do have some here & some is too many!!! We heard some while walking in the woods one morning last fall - freaked me out! EEK!

Good snowy blowy Sunday morning MMC!!! What a weekend! I haven't left the house too much. We did go to the Legion for a little while last night, but that has been about it. Jim has been out all weekend. He played in the snow ALL day yesterday. Opening driveways & talking with neighbors. Lol! Brrrrr! This morning he is out delivering feed. UGH. He said he is driving about 45-50 mph & very few are out on the roads. I started crocheting a little blankie for our new pup when we get her & my sister saw it on Friday - she asked me to make another for her new grand puppy Charlie (male) who they just got yesterday...so I have been hooking on that all weekend! Love it!!! Great weather for that! Cooking & crocheting! I made Cheeseburger Soup yesterday - one of my faves! Thinking about what I can make today...

Snow-in-Texas and I are missing Christmas! We did watch Christmas Vacation last night for Rudolph Day. He said it has hit him a little hard missing Christmas this year like never before. He said I am rubbing off on him with all the Christmas enthusiasm! We always have a blast together during the holidays!

I do need to come by more often! I really do miss all of you when I am away. This place is addicting and I know once I come on here and cannot seem to get away!!! Facebook - no addiction at all. I can safely open it up and close it quickly. Ha ha! I know most people are addicted to facebook but I basically open it up to see if I have any messages or notifications, check the top of the timeline, might respond to a few things and get out of there! On here, I start to read and cannot stop! I should not be on here now! I have things to do and a busy day!!!

Hope you and the hubby stay safe in blowing snow!!! It was nasty here yesterday and they are saying it will get nasty again later today and the next couple of days.

I'm beginning to feel bad for the folks up north after heating about all the snow and the bone chilling temperatures. It was 70 here in Texas yesterday and supposed to be 65 today. But, it will be short lived we have a cold front coming in this week and it is horribly dry!

My mom turns 83 today! She is in Vermont at my sisters place so we sent her a happy birthday video.

Thanks, Meceka!!! They got off at noon today so they probably just had enough time to make one pass around the complex. I've been out three times since then cleaning off the sidewalk. The ramp down to the street from the building has had at least a foot of snow on it every time.

Hope you are staying stay and warm too!!!!

I'm sorry you had to keep shoveling ~ I'm sure your neighbors are very thankful that you are looking out for them! The snow is falling here as are the temperatures. Sounds like you are experiencing the same ~ stay safe and warm!!!
