Just got a call that I am on call 7-10, then I am to go in at 10 tonight, so I am going to try to squeeze in 45 minute nap here, in case I don't get to lay down tonight, since I may get called in at 7.

I'm working on a surprise afghan for a co-worker who's getting married in June. It's a single color (light purple) that's all textured stitches. After that there's a pattern for a pillow that incorporates a pine tree that I want to try.

Will do! The afghan for Zoe is one large granny square that is done with one row traditional granny (cream) alternating with one row of chain stitches (light purple). Makes what is called a window pane afghan. The edging will be all light purple. Next I want to make an afghan for a very sick friend, but I'm not sure what colors or pattern yet. I hope you post a picture of your afghan and pillow when you are done!

Those are great places to look ~ good variety! I haven't been to the one thrift store that I find the best deals at in over a month. They have been closed due to the weather so donations are probably way down, too.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! Well the temp didn't fall as fast as they said they would. We are still holding at 3 degree's instead of the -10 they were predicting by this time. I think the fact that we made it all the way up to 44 last night instead of the 36 they were predicting helped out in that department. The wind chill is -20 though so it's still frigid out there. Not to much on my agenda for today. I have a lot of dishes to do and then I have to figure out something for dinner. I'm hoping the mail lady will bring the Josh Groban Noel cd that I ordered so I can listen to it while doing the dishes. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I have a feeling I will still be at work as well. I got in here this morning at 5:50am and from the look of things, I won't get out of here until super late tonight. :-(

Heading out here shortly to pick up my sister from work - she'll be watching the kids tonight, since DH and I both work tonight, then I'm going to pick up pizza while I'm out. Hope you're having a great afternoon!
