Well the maintenance man was here for 3 hours this morning and couldn't get the sink unclogged. His small snake wasn't long enough and his big snake was to big to go around the bends in the pipe. So he is going to have to come back monday when Jose and Jose are here and go down through the vent in the roof. For some reason, he didn't trust me to run the bobcat to lift him and the snake up to the roof. LOL!!!! Plus it's going have to be raked off and some salt thrown down before he goes up on it. So I'm stuck eating out all weekend. Darn!!! Oh well, I got my shopping done, so now I'm off to my sister's house to swap out the light switches and do my aunt's taxes. Talk to you all later!!!!

I hope he wasn't reading your posts hear looking for help beating him up. cheesy

Now he is going to make you wait.

Hi everyone. I made it thru the surgery just fine. I just want to say thatnk you all very much for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers that was posted here; your all a really swelll bunch of friends~

I'm a little sore right now and just kind of taking it easy for the next couple of days here at home. Hopefully, I will be 100% in just no time at all....they said the total (full) healing time is about 12 weeks. For the guys here, (not to be gross here) but the biggest thing that I can really, really, really say, that I did not like was the catheter and the act of me pulling that thing out myself... No sir, don't ever want to do that again, that was really freaky feeling that I did not like...

Other than that, I'm forced to keep wearing my pjs for several days, don't have to shave, I get to eat ice cream, watch TV, while sitting in the lazyboy next to the fireplace...I could kind of get used to this....LOL

I hope everyone else is doing fine and wish you all well. Thanks again...

Glad that all went well, friend! Take good care in your recovery~

((Hugs))

That is a little chilly, stay warm!!!

Thanks, we are trying!! cheesy

It seems there are a lot of comments online of people hating the U.S.A. sweaters with a few who like them. I love them!!! Like I said, reminds me of the "ugly" Christmas sweaters. Those are fun to me!

I just found out they were hand sewn! (Maybe you all already knew that but I didn't!)

That's amazing they were hand sewn. That's a lot of hard work.

Dang! I guess I do need to go to bed since I can't read! I just re-read your post - you're going to work, not bed! Ha ha! I am about to go to bed here in a few minutes though, I am tired!!! Enjoy work!

LOL!!!! That doesn't surprise me at all.

The real question is, where is that stage manager now?

Sitting in a corner somewhere...hiding.

Good evening,

A long and busy day at work today, and I have to be in tomorrow for 6am. I get out at 1pm. I had to change my schedule to that since they didn't schedule anyone to work the opening duties.

I watched as much of the opening ceremony as I could handle, my wife fell asleep and I got the control back. There is still nothing on, though.

LC is still sick, he was a little better when he went to bed, but now we are worried about JP since he put himself to bed at 6pm. He has a birthday party to attend tomorrow and we don't want him to miss it since the party is to see The Lego Movie.

I am heading to bed, 4:45 will be here way too soon.

Good night, Christmas critters. cheesy

Hope LC feels better soon and JP is getting sick. Hope JP had fun at the party today. Hope you're work day went well!

Snow moved in around 6:00 tonight....we are 4 inches in....

Not a lot to some of you, but it is to us. Tomorrow, we were supposed to go to dinner and a movie....now looks like we might stay home.

Y'all have a good one! See you later.

Stay safe in that snow. Enjoy yourselves whatever you guys decide to do.

Merry Saturday!

I was only able to skim a few pages of posts. Sorry if I have missed any news. Things are slowing down a bit except now everyone is down with a cold in our house. I thought mine would be on it's way out now but nope it's still here! Work tomorrow so today I'm just spending time with the family and watching the Olympics. I honestly don't know where this past week went !

Ok well I'm off to take temperatures and hand out tissues :) Have a fun and enjoyable weekend my Christmas family.

Sam xxxx

Hope you're having a great Saturday! Hope everyone starts to feel better soon - praying for you all. Have a good day at work tomorrow.

Boo!!! Hope it wasn't a lot of work!!! Enjoy your day!!

That is one of the draw backs of technology, easier to work at home!
Hope you get to have a relaxing time somewhere in the weekend.

Thank you! He's still busy working, but he thinks the end may be in sight. I hope this means he won't have to work tomorrow. Myself, I have to go in half an hour early on Monday. It seems to be the busy season!

That is frustrating!! Sorry, buddy :(

Good luck with the electrical work at your sister's, and the taxes for your aunt!

You're such a great guy. So thoughtful!

Have a wonderful rest of your day!!

xx

I am, thanks! Need to start getting ready for tonight :)

Aww, thanks buddy!!! Hope you have a great time tonight!!!!!

Good morning, MMC!!

I was hoping to walk Harlowe early, because she is wanting to go so badly, but I just looked at the temperature at saw this:

(Insert sound effect) Wah, wah, wah!! It's supposed to be warmer today, like in the mid teens. Maybe they were wrong again, lol. I'll keep the snow!! Over the brutal cold!!

What are your plans today?

I am going to relax & get some things done around the house. Tonight, Adi has a mysterious date night planned.
Looking forward to it

Hope you all have a blessed & beautiful day!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high in the mid 20's. It's already started snowing though. We are supposed to have 4 clippers move through over the weekend with 3 to 4 inches of snow. So we may break the record for all time snowiest winter by the time this week is over. I have a lot going on today but what I actually get to do depends on when the maintenance man gets here to fix the sink. Hopefully it will be here soon. Then I can run to my sister's to replace some light switches and get some shopping done. My nieces want me to take them to Chuck E Cheese too but they both have colds, so I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe next weekend. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Stay safe in that snow! Hoping you got your sink fixed. Praying your nieces feel better soon!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a cold, rainy morning here, and I have some work I need to do, but a pot of coffee and some reduced-fat Oreos have my spirits up. Lulu, our little cockapoo (cocker spaniel & poodle mix), is my travelling partner. Everytime I slow down, she climbs into my lap and watches my hand to make sure I roll down the window so she can hang out. It's pretty funny!

I hope to get in some time on the Camaro today, too. We're closer than we've ever been on the car, but it still seems like there are so many little things that take so much time (and money!). But it won't get done if we don't work on it, eh?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hope you have a great weekend, Brad and have time to work on that Camaro!

you have a strange plumbing system, all the drains I know of run down to the ground not up to the roof.

He must live in the Twilight Zone!

I hope you get that fixed soon, Made!

LOL!!!! Yes the drains run underground. For the drains to work though, there has to be air behind the water. So all houses have a vent pipe that lets air into the drains. If you go outside and look up at your roof, you should see a plastic pipe coming up through your roof.

An easier way to think of it. Think of a tea jar. When you hit the button to let the tea out of it with the lid closed, it comes out real slow. When you open the lid and let air in, it comes out faster.
