I broke my laptop today and I am not happy. My writings, music (including Christmas) and some other stuff is gone now. Needless to say I'm a bit disappointed.

Hi everyone. I made it thru the surgery just fine. I just want to say thatnk you all very much for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers that was posted here; your all a really swelll bunch of friends~

I'm a little sore right now and just kind of taking it easy for the next couple of days here at home. Hopefully, I will be 100% in just no time at all....they said the total (full) healing time is about 12 weeks. For the guys here, (not to be gross here) but the biggest thing that I can really, really, really say, that I did not like was the catheter and the act of me pulling that thing out myself... No sir, don't ever want to do that again, that was really freaky feeling that I did not like...

Other than that, I'm forced to keep wearing my pjs for several days, don't have to shave, I get to eat ice cream, watch TV, while sitting in the lazyboy next to the fireplace...I could kind of get used to this....LOL

I hope everyone else is doing fine and wish you all well. Thanks again...

I am sorry I didn't know you were having surgery. I am relieved on your behalf to hear that it went well. Rest up and take it easy. Sending you thoughts and prayers :gift:as well as virtual hot chocolates and cookies to aid your recovery !

So far, we are really enjoying the Beatles show. I remember their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. We had to go to church that night, but we made it back home in time to see the Beatles part. Am I the only one at MMC who saw the original show?

This made me smile . What a magical memory to have. Both my parents are Beatles fans so obviously I am now a huge fan also. There is a song to narrate every chapter of my life. LOVE them!! I would have loved to experience the thrill of that original performance!!
