Good Morning, Post-Pines People.

And with 'Pines Day behind us and Weekend Eve just ahead, we once again pause and take a deep breath (and a deep swallow of sweet southern iced tea) before examining today's count numbers.

Days to the Season: 266
Days to Christmas Day: 308

And it becomes quickly apparent that that tomorrow will see us to ONE WEEK until our next Milestone, the 300-day Christmas Day Window.
(Moving right along!)

Warm yesterday and we touched 70!
(Here's hoping for a repeat today.)
We have started out at 52 degrees here this morning.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks!

Good afternoon, MMC ~ Happy Pines Day!

There were quite a few posts I was going to comment on, but for some reason I kept having trouble accessing the site today.

Holiday, Made, Snowflake, Christmasstar, be safe in the wacky weather headed our way!

HmG, I'm glad Maggie is doing well!

Festive, I hope you are able to sleep better tonight and that the rain lets up! Praying your little one is better soon!

I have chores to do and several leaks on the porch to keep tabs on ~ thank God I have a lot of buckets! It is getting messy out here and tomorrow looks to be extremely unpleasant weather-wise: ice, snow, sleet, rain, freezing fog, fog and thunderstorms were all mentioned. Should be very interesting!

Take care and be merry and safe!!!

I'll be thinking of you - hopefully the weather doesn't get too wacky.

Hi everyone! Thank you all for your kinds words of my little doggy Chico's passing. My family gathered with me that day to help me through the grief and took me out to dinner. I just love them all so much and thankful I have such a wonderful family who were there to comfort me!

I woke up in the middle of the night on the first night Chico passed away and felt sad, Wayne couldn't sleep either thinking about him. As always, I run for Christmas for therapy during sad times. We popped in the movie, Christmas Vacation, and watched that until we fell back to sleep.

I still feel very sad but just taking it one day at a time and moving forward. We have Christmas 2014 to look forward to!

I hope you all have had a Merry Day!

Been thinking about you guys. Glad to hear that the whole family is coming together and helping you and SIT with your grieving process. You guys will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Big (((hugs))) for all of you. God Bless and I'm always here! <3

Umm, I know Carl said he had a major construction project going on over the last week but a rocket launch pad? He said something about sending his friends in the picture for some out of this world ingredients for next week's blend. I'm scared now!!!!

LOL...I'm glad that I sat in the hot tub by myself and relaxed, heading out of the Pines early!

My son-in-law has been working on a moving job this week. They are moving a 3 story mansion into a million + dollar condo in Downtown Dallas. During the job the people in the mansion did not feel like moving flat screen TV's, video gaming systems and more expensive things they owned and told the movers to just take it all to the curb. They were just throwing it away!!! What?! When asked if anything was wrong with these items they said nothing is wrong they just don't want to mess with it so they said the movers can have their items. Must be nice to have too much money.

While they were moving into the condos the set of Dallas was filming on one of the floors of the condos. It made for a long day for my son-in-law because the moving company had to clear security every time they wanted to get on the elevator to move furniture to the top floor.

My son-in-law has had some very cool stories to tell on some of the jobs he does! Dallas does have some of the most beautiful homes. Not mine but hey - it's home!!! I am thankful for my house. =)

Hello all. We are in Texas having fun. Hope you all are having a good night too!

Glad to hear you're having a great time. Have a safe trip home!

just finished making decorations for a cake, and now I am going to bed. Will see how it is in the morning with this storm that is supposed to be coming.
Have a good night everyone!

Hope the weather isn't bad this morning and if you have to commute somewhere, it isn't a bad commute for you.

Oh man! We are expecting more freezing rain & sleet, and now we're expecting 10-12 inches. Blowing & drifting snow, 1-2 inches per hour starting this afternoon, and they are calling it the biggest storm of the season. Extended through tomorrow evening.

Hope they are on top of it with the plows for once!

Good evening,

It was a pretty easy night at work, for a change, the snow kept everyone away from the store tonight.
I have to be back in for 7, my bro in law is picking me up since the Saturn is still nothing more than a giant paperweight at the moment.
Looks like another showdown between USA vs Canada in hockey on Friday, I will be missing the game, but I wish I could see it. The last time these 2 teams met in the Olympics was 2010 for the gold and that was one heck of a game.

I should probably head to bed, alarm will be ringing way to soon.

Good night, everybody.

Glad to hear you had a good day at work. Hope today goes well too.
I am looking forward to that game. It will be a great one for sure!

Your optimism is exactly what I need this morning. Thank you. ^^

Good morning! First, big thanks to everyone for support at my job interview. :]

It looks like it's going to by very windy and rainy today. Oh no!

I have a reading week for one of my class today so no class. Instead, I am going to start my another assessment. It's scientific article and it's due next Thursday. :/

Anyway, I wish everyone a nice day. Best wishes!

Good luck with your article!

Good morning - hope you have a great day, Snowflake!

good morning!
We are getting ready for yet another storm, this one with lots of rain. My son is clearing out the basement window wells of snow in hopes of keeping water out of the basement.
I am leaving for work in a few minutes.
When I get back we are going to look at a possible apartment for my oldest daughter.
So you all have a great day!
