Christmas Countdown - 2014

Had a great time today, 190 ladies singing, praying, laughing and getting to know each other better.
Wonderful lunch of squash soup, salad and chicken wraps with petite fours for dessert.
There was a great speaker talking on the seasons of life, a piano concert and a very funny skit. Lots of door prizes, none of which I won, but that is ok, it was fun watching the excitement of those who did win.
I attened a workshop on fiances and there was also workshops on health, cake decorating and electronic scrap booking.
Also had an opportunity to try some different kinds of tea from a local tea shop.
There was a book store there with lots of good stuff available for us to purchase if we wanted to.
We finished the day with singing this song as we lit candles while standing in a circle around the sanctuary.

I too am signing off for the night. Have to pick up my daughter. Getting up early to watch Canada hopefully win gold again in mens hockey.

Happy Sunday to everyone! It's rainy and incredibly windy here. Pff. I did quite a lot of work on my scientific article yesterday and my friend asked me to check her essay she wrote in English. 10 pages! And she needs to submit it today so I only have couple of hours for editing it. I scanned it very quickly and oh boy, sentences are structured very poorly so I sort of have to rewrite everything. I'd better get going.

I do not drink coffee but we do own a Keruig and my son recommends Van Houtte house blend and Timothy's breakfast blend.
Find in your area a shop that sells the K cups individually that way you can buy one on each kind that looks good and try it before committing to a whole box full.
