Hi guys...sorry haven't checked in lately. I've only seen a little bit of what the buzz is around here- hopefully, all of you are in good humor!
Both of my sons are starting new jobs tomorrow and there is a lot of action around our house. One has a new apt. starting April, one just broke up with a long time girlfriend...oy!
My sister-in-law was in a bad car accident a couple of weeks ago and is recovering from a badly broken leg and arm plus lots of bruising. A 19 year old boy who was "impaired" hit her as she made her way to work. Annnnnd my nephew, an assistant bank manager was held up at his teller window- so yeahhhh. This was all within a few days!
So, all in all, we've been dealing with lots of family happenings...some good, some pretty lousy.
But, we've survived and appreciate each other even more.
I'm going to try to catch up on how you all are doing today.

This sounds HEAVENLY, Snowflake!! Right now, I have two pork roasts in the crockpot with potatoes, onions, carrots, corn, and pork gravy. We will eat the roast tonight and then make pulled pork sandwiches tomorrow evening. Right now it smells so good. I put in a little white wine and then poured myself a glass, LOL!

I forgot to add that I am making one of the bread recipes that I shared today on FB--the one with Mexican cheese, mozzarella cheese, canned biscuits, butter, and (mile) chilis. I have to make the bread in the toaster oven. I LOVE ciabatta bread!!!

That is a lot to deal with, momnan. So glad your SIL is on the mend ~ praying for a quick recovery for her. Your poor nephew ~ that had to be so scary. I'm so glad he is all right! Take care, my friend! {{{HUGS}}}

YES, it will, Victoria!!! I remember all the hard work, but it is definitely worth it! I graduated 1969 with a bachelor's degree and then a master's degree and then doctoral work. I just LOVED LEARNING!!!

Christmasstar, so glad you had a wonderful time with the ladies at church. What is a Pina Colada wash? Congrats to your countrymen/women on the gold in hockey. I'm bummed I missed all the figure skating, esp. the ice dancing ~ been a fan of that sport since Torvil and Dean did their routine to Bolero.
