Christmas Countdown - 2014

They have just a little more work to complete on the subfloor. The inspector has been pretty cool and has signed off on the construction so far. He will be back to inspect the electrical after the framing and before the drywall. We are both getting excited. Did I tell y'all that we are having a spaghetti sauce cook-off when the kitchen is complete instead of a house-warming?

I am sure all of us are right there with you, Holiday. We all love our furbabies. Since our "Baby" had to be put to sleep this past year, we decided to wait until the house is completed before we get another one. Hubby has already marked out where the cat door will go!

I am so far behind schedule. I need to get out of here and run a few errands. I'm just having a quick coffee break. I went downstairs earlier to start some laundry and there was water pouring out of the wall. I called my husband and he told me how to shut the water off and came racing home to figure out what was going on. It has something to do with the radiant heat. I hope it's an easy fix, I can feel the house cooling off already. I'm so happy he wasn't on a job in the city today.
Not too much else going on for me. The girls all have off from work today so we will probably all do something together this afternoon.

It's going to be one of those weeks. Mom got home from work and had a headlight. So after dinner had to run to autozone and get a new headlight and then install it. So that is 2 trips there this week and hopefully it will be my last!!!
