Yay for the Christmas movie! ^^



'Man of Steel' is a superb choice, guys. I enjoyed the movie so much! Although I was completely mentally exhausted afterwards because of the constant action going on in the movie so you have to stay focused to catch every bit of it. :] And I also think Henry Cavill looked HOT there as well. Ehem.

Despite the fact that there was an awkward moment when I got stuck in the middle of my presentation for like 10 seconds or so because I randomly forgot the essential word, it was very good and great fun. :] I was happy to write the highest marks for all group members in group evaluation sheet since my group was really great. We all worked equally and felt responsible for each other. :] And thank you for asking. I appreciate that.

Good evening everyone! And happy Friday too! I hope you all had some great plans for the weekend. Since our big debate is now over, I only have the last two assessments to submit next week, and that will be it until the exams. :] I am going to Glasgow tomorrow to get my first training for volunteering at the Commonwealth Games. It will take four hours but I am leaving in the morning anyway so I will be gone for pretty much all day. I am really excited about the training. Can't wait for summer already. ^^

I hope your shoulder is better soon and that your cuts heal quick! Hope you were able to get a good night's rest in, too! My day was awful ~ I was very sick all day. I do believe I have the flu. Somewhat better today ~ I was actually able to get on here and that helps!

Good evening!
Just wanted to pop in quick and say hello!
Maggie's echocardiogram went well, her heart looks alright. They don't see anything to be concerned about at this time so the doctor is confident that the coughing is from the lung disease and issues with her trachea. They sent me home with a new medication that should help open up her airways. I'm praying this one will make her more comfortable. We'll see, fingers crossed!

I am glad to hear the echocardiogram went well, I hope the new meds help her out.

I have seven little boys staying the night for my son's birthday. They will not calm down and sleep! I need backup...calling all MMC members and Carl! Send reinforcements!

I have not been here since February 25th! I need to get back to my daily dosing of MMC! My day is just not complete without it!

Good morning!
It is going to be partly sunny with temperatures in the lower 40's. We may have some passing flurries this evening, but nothing to worry about.
I need to get moving, I have to go food shopping this morning. I have nothing in the house again. I can't keep up with the amount of food these kids go through. I may try shopping at Costco again after the kitchen is finished. I also need to go to the pet store, I need more pill pockets for Maggie's meds. She is typically very finicky so I'm lucky she has been gobbling these up. Other than that, I will be working on some chores. My husband will be working on the kitchen again and the girls have to work for a few hours. I plan on making a seven layer dip, tacos and mexican rice for dinner. Hopefully we'll all be able to meet up and eat together.

I love Mexican, but I don't think my belly can handle it right now. I'll take a rain check on it. cheesy

My boys go through food like there is no tomorrow, we are in deep trouble when they become teenagers.

Have fun at the stores!!!! I just got back from my errands and I was amazed that Harbor Freight was busier than the grocery store.

Well my niece's are gone and my errands are done. Harbor freight was packed. I spent some time looking around though and picked up a few things. I might go back again tomorrow when it hopefully won't be as busy. I also swung by the sporting goods store and picked up a few things for my big camping trip in May. Including a large can of pepper spray since I hear that Cougars can be a problem in the area that I am heading. Now I guess I need to get motivated and clean up the mess my niece's made. I know one thing. Their pom poms are going to come up missing. I have pieces of them all over the place.

Hello all. Today is my son's birthday but he is worn out from the party and sleepover last night!
My mother in law brought donuts for my son and his friends this morning. We went shopping this afternoon so my son could spend his bday cash. Long story short, we just arrived home to find the empty donut box on the ground and Happy looking very guilty. He got all that were left...six! I know a dog that may have a tummy ache tonight!

A busy day, but we got the car I wanted. Well, not quite yet … it's coming from another lot, so it'll be here a few days. A new Toyota Corolla that's about the color of a Christmas tree. It's 10 years newer than the one I'm driving now, so it'll be an adventure learning the new bells and whistles. It's been a long day and I'm beat! We went out to dinner, and now we're relaxing with an old episode of Hee Haw.
