Greetings friends! Great to be here to catch up after being away for awhile. Life has been really busy but starting to slow down a bit finally. It's a beautiful day here in Peoria so I have been taking advantage of it. Hope you guys are having a great weekend.

Hope everyone is doing great today! HAPPY MILESTONE DAY!!!

I leave in an hour for the airport to pick up my husband. I am soooooooo excited!!! We haven't seen him since Christmas so perfect milestone marker for us!!! Noah doesn't know he's coming and is absolutely going to flip out! LOL He must have asked me 10 times this week when Dad would be home again or we would be able to see him again. He's missing him terribly and it makes me quite aware of how blessed we are that we have a 17 year old son who still feels that close to his dad. I know they're out there, but it seems few and far between the number of teens who actually want to be around their parents. I feel very fortunate.

I cannot stand the wait!! Right now I feel like this:

Well, the "Green Machine" (new car) is getting used to its new home. Thanks to the snowmelt and the salt and chemicals still on the road, it already looks pretty "broken in." It's amazing how the Bluetooth connects automatically with the phone so I can stream music (or podcasts or Internet radio or audiobooks). "Welcome to the 21st century!"



Happily, it looks like the snow will stay south of us Monday, but it will be getting down below freezing again. C'mon, it's time for spring!

My two oldest are working and my youngest is in the city with her friends so my husband and I are going out to dinner for a very long over due date night! There is a local Italian restaurant that has a new gluten free menu, I'm looking forward to checking it out.

Kandice and her dancegroup finished second in their competition yesterday.....they won a Trophae and 111 Euros.....they werer mighty proud!!!

Good morning and happy Sunday! It should be slightly cloudy here today but still no rain. We have been truly blessed in terms of weather here. :]
Ceilidh finished at midnight last night so I took a quick shower when I got back and went straight to bed. It was SOOOOO much fun! Exhausting though but so fun. We were dancing for about four hours plush we had an hour long Scottish dinner. ^^ My friend who is one of people organizing the event said they aim to host about 2-3 ceilidh nights every year so I hope there will be another one later this year because I am definitely going. And don't people dare to say that men in kilts don't look cool. :lol:

Good morning!
Feeling a bit headachey today, I may have a had a little too much wine last night. It was worth it though.
The temperatures have dropped, it is going to be cooler than it has been the past couple of days. We will be in the lower 30's today. We're going to a St. Patrick's Day parade this afternoon. We will have to bundle up because we'll be outside for quite some time. I get a break from cooking dinner tonight, we will be going to my in-laws after the parade for corned beef and cabbage.

Just rambling through the posts while listening to some ragtime music. Gotta start some laundry soon, then I may make some tea and watch an episode of Downton Abbey (third season, no spoilers please!). I enjoy sipping tea when I watch something British.



It's sunny and bright here but cold. At least the snow will be missing us, last I heard.



Remember to wear something green tomorrow, or the snakes will get you!

I will have to share this will DH! I am sure he will wear something green today for sure. He HATES snakes!

Cold day in Jersey today! Went to breakfast with our usual Sunday pals, came back and chopped some wood, raked some leaves, blew out some beds, came in and lit a fire and thought of all of you!



I don't post nearly enough but my thoughts are always with you and on Christmas! Oh yeah, we stopped at an estate sale on the way home and I bought a Christmas CD and a timer for Christmas lights...so I guess I'm still in the spirit!



Time flies, I'll tell ya...and I so love to read the updates from our beloved Crown, my long time friend from Christmas.com.

Uh oh...lol. I was at a New Year's Eve party once where they ran out of beer, so you had to drink wine. Never had it..tried it....thought it was good. REAL good. Several, several glasses good. Next morning, I realized that wine is from the devil. That stuff hurts!

Good morning, MMC!

A bitterly cold, snowy day here in mid-Michigan. The fluctuations in temperature are good at this time as it allows the melt-off from the previous day to sink in to the ground and lessens the threat of flooding somewhat. When it warms up on Tuesday, it could get very messy out here. I'm prepared, so all is good!

I have a lot of chores to catch up on today and some work I need to get done for the store. Hoping to have a nap later on because Palmer kept racing around the house and was jumping on and off the bed most of the early morning hours. She is now resting ~ probably recharging for another madcap evening. Ah, well ~ at least she was having fun!

Good evening everyone! I hope everyone is having a nice evening. :] It got quite windy later in the afternoon when I went for a walk. Luckily, still no rain. ^^ Had a very nice chat with my cousin on 'Skype' and if everything goes as planned, she will come to Scotland this summer. She seems pretty excited about that and I am too. It would be nice to have her here for a week or so. We will see how everything will turn out. :]

I have felt quite lazy today. Despite the walk and cleaning the kitchen, I did nothing. Not good, I know. It will be better tomorrow, however, because I still have some uni work to do.

Well, this is the first time I am checking in for today and I probably won't get to check back in, since I have to work tonight.

We took the kids to Disney on Ice today and they absolutely loved it. It was a surprise for them and I loved the look on their faces as the different characters came out. For you that are friends with me on Facebook, I posted an album on there.

Just relaxing this evening. Not wanting monday to come. They are always crazy! But its St Patrick's Day at least! I never go out for it but I celebrate being Irish. Why not!? Today I just put Santa away. He was on the porch and with all the snow he was stuck! Kind of sad putting him away. William is already asking where the pumpkins are! Well off I go to watch some tv.
