Happy Friday everyone! I'm back at work but still feeling kind of weak. Good news is I'm getting better and today is Friday. Hope it's a great weekend for all of you!

"Weekend Eve is here again.
The skies above are clear again.
Carl has got sweet tea, let's cheer again.

And hard though it may be to believe, we have once again cycled through another work week and are ready for respite.

But first, the numbers:
Days to the Season: 237
Days to Christmas Day: 279

Five -- count 'em -- FIVE days remain until Milestone number 4, the one-quarter marker to Christmas Day 2014.
(Hard though that may be to believe!)

Ah!
What a nice day after several miserable ones in a row.
Yesterday was warm (near 70) sunny, dry and overall beautiful!
(What a nice begining to Spring!)
Right now, we stand at a chilly 33 degrees here in the capital city but should warm up shortly.

Merry Friday! Another week over! It is dry this morning so my youngest and I went to the shops to pick up a few things and then took the long way home so we could look for signs of spring. I just finished some house chores and now I am having a cup of tea before doing some work while my little one is asleep.

We have a pretty quiet weekend planned indoors. I will be working on Sunday so I am looking forward to tomorrow when we can all be home together at the same time!!

Good afternoon, MMC!

A chilly and windy day here ~ I think it is helping to dry up what little has melted out there today so that is good! The damp spot on the basement floor has gotten a bit bigger, hopefully it won't get worse. I have to keep monitoring it, though, because once it starts to flood, it doesn't take long to rise down there.

I have chores to do so will bid all of you a good rest-of-the day!

Oh no! I hope you don't have any flooding. That is a pain! Have a good day!

I haven't known anyone doing a soup sampling before but it sounds so good. Especially now when I have a big soup problem - cooking it every night and my flatmates think I am crazy. ^^
And Gracie looks adorable too! <3

Good evening everyone! Despite the horrible wind, I managed to walk to the campus. I was wearing water and windproof clothes so I didn't get soaked. However, the planned field trip to the fish farm got cancelled because of the weather. The fish farm obviously is located in an open area so we wouldn't have enjoyed it if we had gone there. Oh well. Such things do happen once in a while with Scottish weather. ^^

I've just finished watching my favorite documentary 'Hungry for Change' because there was a free screening online. I am not sure how many of you have seen it but if you haven't, I strongly recommend go and watch it. You won't regret this, I promise. :]

I am not staying up too late tonight because the wind didn't let me to gt proper sleep last night so I have been yawning all day today. ^^

Good evening everyone. Well I was at home from work half the day after going to the doc. Upper respiratory infection.

Hello, MMC family!

Hope you've had a nice day so far~

The sun came out mid-day here, and it reached 43 degrees! It was so nice leaving work and coming outside to that! We took Harlowe for an extra walk, because we all just wanted to be outside.

Time to watch some TV, and catch up around the house.

Too funny b/c Gracie could not get enough of being outside yesterday! I got nothing done at home b/c we were PLAYING! :grin: Now hopefully the nicer weather trend continues!!

Spring has officially returned to our town! The Dairy Queen is open!

All winter the sign in front has said CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. But this morning it says DQ IS OPEN / SPRING IS HERE! No matter how cold it is this weekend, we'll probably be there for an inaugural dish or cone of soft-serve.

Time to add the Hawaiian music back into the playlists.
