Good morning! Yes she has been a little loopy lately!!!
Hi everyone!
I've missed you all. I had a permanent teaching position for about three weeks. Then, their regular teacher returned from maternity leave. I've also only had two days off - not including March/Spring break - since the beginning of February. I'm not minding it at all. Hopefully the money starts coming in soon and my bank account can get out of the red figures!
A few new things... Kim and I will be moving into our own place in about three weeks. We take over a lease on April 1st, but we aren't able to fully move all our stuff until the second weekend of April, unfortunately. We have some packing ahead of us! In terms of where we're moving, it's only two blocks down and about five blocks over. It's actually much closer to where my most of my friends live, despite the fact that they're only about a 8-15 minute walk away right now!
I'll do my best to come around more from now on. I am still supply teaching a lot - pretty much every day - but I'll be sure to come on during my prep period. I have some time between searching for cheap flights (for Italy this summer) and a few other things.
Hope you're all doing great!
New countdown calendars!:

Thanks, Buddy!!! It did. I had already narrowed it down to 2 choices for her and she decided pretty quick. Now I just need my sister and niece's to leave so I can take mom to the mall and let her see if she can drive or not.
Hope you are having a great day!!!!
Someone left a pillow on the kitchen table, Penny thought it was great !

A very nice day today. We hadn't seen our friend since last October, he's such a busy guy and his family lives in Maryland. He's dealing with upheavals in his work situation and his apartment just now. I hope things settle out for him soon. He so deserves to have things work out in his favor.
Time to kick back and relax a little.
Who turned off the heat? It was 67 on Friday and only 34 today!!

Wayne has already put a request to take some time off in December. We plan to go see his family in Maryland and guess what?????? If everything works out we are planning an overnight trip to New York City while there! We will take a train from Baltimore to New York, about a 2 1/2 hour trip each way. I am looking forward to seeing the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and other Christmas sites!
We did take a day trip to New York last time we were there but it was in October. We only had time to visit the 9/11 memorial and John Lennon Memorial - Strawberry Fields/Imagine in Central Park. We also went by the Dakota Apartments where John and Yoko lived. Well, Yoko still lives there.
I am looking forward to seeing it at Christmas time!
This sounds fantastic!
How exciting to be planning this for next Christmas right now!
I've been toying with a trip to Nashville to see Vince Gill and Amy Grant perform their Christmas concert at the Ryman Theater.
We saw them in Illinois a few years ago and it was wonderful.
I worry about rotten weather though...I must be bold!
Hello!
I am doing better after a month from hell with virus stuff back to back. I was well for about a week and another bug got me! I always think it is just a head cold and then it turns into lots of yuck.
I hope all of my buddies here have avoided the plague and are thinking spring!
Good morning!
Off to work, done at 3:30 today
Have a fantastic day everyone!!
Good Morning, Folks.
Creeping along towards Milestone number 5, the one-quarter mark to Christmas Day.
Days to the Season: 234
Days to Christmas Day: 276
Day after tomorrow.
Marker number five arrives.
Plan to be on hand!
Cooler yesterday with some rain.
Really winter-like conditions just ahead.
(Hopefully after that, we can relax and move on into a proper Spring!)
Currently, our thermometer reads 34 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Christmas Comrades!
putting in my request for vacation time from July 12 to the 2th to go to Vermont to visit my sister and pick up mom for trip home. My favorite son will be coming with me.
