After Jones, now Kandice has caught the cough....I just hope that she won´t develop a bronchitis....I will just let drink lots of juices and Ginger Ale and hope she will get healthy without getting tooooo sick.........Right now she is watching Disney Channel.....quack pack is on.....we might watch some Lord Of The Rings or Harry Potter later on (she has a thing for those fantasy monster and does not get scared by em)....lol......if not that.....an Christmas movie

Good evening,

We spent the day at my in laws celebrating my MIL's birthday, it was a good meal and a fun time. My FIL is a big Bruins fan also, so we enjoyed the Bruins exciting shootout win. Back to work tomorrow, hopefully it will be a quick day since I have Tuesday off.

I am still quite tired from such a busy week last week, so I am glad I made it in here before 11pm.

Merry Monday! Here we go again, another week! I had a lovely weekend and Mother's Day , thank you for all the well wishes.

We are having beautiful dry , mild weather at the moment. It is set to change by end of week but I am happy to have a few days break from the cold and wet. Yesterday we went to a huge park. It was great. There is a boating lake , petting farm and beautiful nature trails. We even fed the squirrels. They are so tame that they take the food straight out of your hands. The kids had a ball.

I have quickly skimmed the posts and it look like everyone had a nice weekend, I'm glad! Have a great start to the week everyone!

My understanding was they wouldn't try for a dog Chloe's size, either. That's why Reggie wasn't worried about her sunning herself out there alone.

I know we have some bigger hawks in this area, but I also hear that they have been known to try for something, even if it an animal that they normally wouldn't, if they are that hungry. Their concern was that they carry around a lot of diseases on their claws/talons, and even them just attempting to take Chloe could kill her. So scary!! I also worry about owls. We've had that conversation before =]

You have a valid point about the hawks! They can attack even if they cannot lift an animal. Those attacks are deadly too! I am so glad that Chloe is safe!

Good morning, Christmas friends! Hope everyone had a great Saturday like we did! Today is going to be spent getting ready for the work week. Supper is already on and I'm just about to start getting my clothes out and ironed. But before I do that, i wanted to drop by and say hello.

Ballgames, race, and Walking Dead come on today, so there will be a little tv time. I'm also hoping to get my bike out and go for a ride. I got out of the habit of riding, but I've got to find a way to get back into it. Don't know how I'm going to find the time to exercise with a little one, but I must.

One way I can find time to exercise is to stop jabbering right now and get going! I'm off! See yall later!

You need to buy a baby seat for the bike! That would be fun to take your little one for a ride.

Just popping in quickly before going down to the Lodge for installation of officers. The computer problems are not resolved, but we are getting close. We had to have the phone disconnected while wiring was being done on the remodeling. It is supposed to rain for Monday and Tuesday (80%), so we are being delayed, AGAIN!!! It is quickly getting old cooking without a stove/oven. I hope I can keep a modicum of sanity while we deal with our horrible and weird weather in addition to the computer problems. I can't remember if I told y'all about my credit card/banking problems. With the problems going on with Target, my bank issued everyone new credit cards, TWICE!!! What a pain. I am still dealing with that, especially since all of my bills are automatic charges to my card. I am so exasperated that I could scream! What a mess! I hope to have it all straightened out soon or you will have to visit me in "the home." Speaking of weather, Hubby and I were driving back from Chico on one of the rain days this past week; and Hubby commented on the way the sky looked, saying it looked like a funnel cloud. Of course I poo-pooed that, but when we got home and checked the weather channel, it had been a tornado. We have had three sightings in the past week. Tornadoes are extremely rare in our neck of the woods, believe it or not. Speaking of the computer again (don't you love how I stay on topic?), we had to get help because all of a sudden this past week, I could not print anything from my computer; and I have Elks reports that are coming due. They "fixed it" so that I was able to make the copies I needed on Friday, but the next day, I couldn't print again. More exasperation! I better get off and get dressed for the installation and dinner. I will try to get back on later. TTYL

Yay! You're back, sorta! I hope the computer problems gets resolved quickly because I need that reminder to me in your signature about my cookie cutters and shaved ice machine! Ha ha!!!

I hate to say good riddance, but we really did not have a particularly great March weather-wise.
We had cold temps and a hard wind yesterday and it felt like January.
Looking forward to nicer conditions for April but today has started out at a still-too-chilly-for-the-last-day-of-March 42 degrees here.


The count numbers:
Days to the Season: 227
Days to Christmas Day: 269

And one will quickly note that we are now down under 4 weeks away from the 200-day Season Window.
A day less than that and we arrive at the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
Fantastic!

Sounds like a wonderful day planned. I really miss my kids having their grandmother (my mum) close by. My mum misses it to but she lives overseas and it can't be helped. It's a shame though as they miss out on ''Grandma'' time. Your grandkids are so lucky to have sweet and involved grandparents like you and Wayne. I am looking forward to my mum's visit later this year and so are the children.
