Thinking of you, Track! So many of my friends (at least FIVE) have parents or older family members with pneumonia this month!!! My former classroom aide had it in December and January and now has bronchitis. Take care and send your father our best.
Paul's front row tickets at face value are 2000 bucks and that includes soundcheck which would be a dream of mine because only a small group of people are allowed in for that. Rows 2 - 5 (I think 5th row) are 1500 bucks at face value - includes soundcheck as well. No one can scalp those tickets, thank goodness! You must show valid id along with those tickets to get in. They sell out too!
We actually scored tickets right next to the stage on the right side. We were just as close as front row but to the side of course and no soundcheck. Those were high priced but not near as high as rows 1-5! Scalpers were selling that row we were in and several rows higher than us for over 1000 bucks a piece! Insane! We paid face value - it was a splurge for us but worth every penny! We are not raising little kids anymore so time to have fun! =) You will get close tickets for Luke one day!!!
I took this picture from my seat. You can see 1st row where the security is standing, we are actually a little ahead of 1st row! The first two times I saw him it was nosebleed seats.

Good afternoon! What a beautiful day!
My sister sent the ham recipe this morning, so I wanted to send it on for those of you who were asking:
Bone in Ham Butt (I used a 9 or 10 # ham)
1# brown sugar
1 onion coarsely chopped
Place ham in oven bag (like you'd cook a turkey in). Throw in the brown sugar and onion. Tie bag closed and cut small slit in top of bag. Place in pan on lowest rack. Cook at 325 degrees 30 minutes per pound. Turn off oven and let set overnight (or 7 to 8 hours). Remove bone and shred ham.
Enjoy!
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!
Did yall know that Opryland Hotel starts putting up Christmas lights in July. Takes them that long to put up 2,000,000 lights.
That's just a few months!
Good Morning, Second-Half Friends.
No, don't panic.
We aren't at the 2nd half of our count yet.
Just the 2nd half of the Weekend.
Nevertheless, there is this:
Days to the Season: 214
Days to Christmas Day: 256
And the alert will notice that a scant 2 weeks separate us from the 200-day Season Window.
What's more, we are now under 2 weeks away from the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
(What nice thoughts to sustain us through the Weekend Part II.)
Fantastic day yesterday. Doesn't get much better around here.
Highs in the 70's. Calm winds. Lots of sun. No rain. Low humidity.
(And yes, that line is a direct repeat of yesterday's.)
We had a great visit to Raleigh's premier park, Pullen, yesterday.
Today? More of the same kind of weather, I hope.
We stand just under 61 degrees here at this hour.
Have a Super Sunday, Everyone.
And may the rest of your weekend be at least as great as the first!
Good morning, MMC!!
What are your plans?
I would like to catch up on some reading, and phone calls with family and friends =]
It's going to be cooler here, with rain coming in early this afternoon. We are expecting some snow showers overnight, and some possibly on Friday too. Oh well, it has to end soon, right?!
Hope you all have a blessed & beautiful day!!

Good evening,
Busy day at work, another day at work tomorrow.
Tomorrow is JP's 9th birthday, I can't believe he is 9. It seems like yesterday I held him for the first time.
We booked our vacation to Lake george tonight for late July, we can't wait! It also means I should also be off for CIJ this year. cheesy
We also got a rental car to replace the Saturn while we are waiting for this recall issue is being taken care of, GM is paying 100% of all charges and insurance for the rental. So for the time being we now have two Chevy Equinoxes in our driveway.
Bedtime is beckoning.
Good night, everyone!
Well, I am off to a party in a bit.
One year ago our store opened and we are celebrating! The opening was supposed to start at 7am, but there was a hugh icestorm, roads closed, trees down, power out. We had to get a generator from Mississauga so it was 11 am before we actually opened. A day to remember for sure!

This year it was a beautiful sunny day and I had it off!
So have a great evening everyone!
Well Maggie looks like she's ready for bed. I'm going to turn in soon with the puppies and read some more of my book. See you in the morning!
Goodnight!!!

You're welcome!
I was thinking of the squirrel pictures you took when I posted. cheesy
My prayers continue, Ryan. {{{HUGS}}}
That movie sounds familiar ~ I wonder if it is one my dad owned. If so, I have it here somewhere.
Palmer follows me around a lot, too ~ just like my dog Trapper did. She doesn't greet me at the door, though. She hides until she is sure it is me ~ usually when I take off my shoes she feels it is safe to come out.
Excellent news regarding your mom! I will keep her in my prayers. Have a great day, too, made!
I used FB far more when I first joined than I do now. The bulk of the time I've spent on there in the past few years would probably be the Greasy Skillet chats I used to join in on when I could get the page to load.
Keeping you in prayer, Merry! I hope Mr. is a lot better today!
.....How far is William B. Umstead Park from you? I used to go there every summer to summer camp. Loved that place!
Good afternoon! What a beautiful day!
