Forgot to mention---my Christmas cactus is beginning to bud again! Looks like it's going to give us a springtime show of blossoms! I was talking with Mr. about repotting it and trimming it back a little, but now I should wait until it's done blooming. Mr. says it heard us talking and is trying to postpone the repotting. I'm so nervous about messing with it that when the time comes, I will probably start a few cuttings at the same time just in case I harm the plant. Maybe I'll start a few in one big bowl and see what happens.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a busy morning, but that keeps me from getting down about all the rain. My nephew's t-ball game will probably be cancelled now. I was looking forward to that.

I ordered some parts for the Camaro last night, then my brother called to say he's just about ready to crank it! I still have to buy more stuff, like exhaust, carpet and a windshield, but we're getting closer!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
My youngest has off this week for Spring break so I decided to stay in bed a little bit later this morning. Bentley didn't wake me up and Maggie had a good night. I gave her a higher dose of the cough suppressant last night and I think it may have helped.
I don't have too much going on today. I wanted to run to the supermarket but we are expecting showers/storms all day, so I will probably put it off until tomorrow. I'll just be working on some chores around the house.
You were all very chatty last night, I will be back to catch up.

Good morning friends.

I set my alarm to see the eclipse at about two this morning. It was pretty cool!

Speaking of the eclipse...

Carl called this morning and y'all don't even want to know. In honor of this week's unusual lunar events, Carl is debuting a new special blend called Blood Moon. And, just for me, in honor of it snowing in Oklahoma smack in the middle of tornado season, a second special blend is available tomorrow called "Snownado." I'm afraid!

Adrian went into the woods to capture the eclipse! Haven't talked to him about it, he was still sleeping when I left for work. Hope he got some great shots of it! Glad you thought it was cool!

It was so bright when I took Har out before bed- beautiful!!

Thank you CS! My nephew texted this morning saying they took him off the vent at 3am, which is the 1st step of a 3 step process to get him out on time. I'm not sure what that means, other than maybe they have a time frame they want him totally breathing on his own & that's a 3 step process? Anyway - it's progress. He's still critical, but hopefully getting stronger every minute.

Just got a new update from my sis:



Jay said he had a wild night last night! They took the vent out at around 3 am, they pulled the balloon pump from his leg this morning around 8:30. He will need to lay flat for 6 hrs. after that. So far so good! Keep sending prayers! I have to say he is getting really good care here

Good morning MMC!



Winter has returned to Ohio! :cold: Sun is shining now but that wind is bitter cold!!!! I'm feeling so far behind getting ready for Easter. Last night was pretty much a bust. Sometimes when I worry I get a lot of cleaning done. Last night was not one of them nights! Hopefully tonight I can get a handle on it!



Gracie has to go to the vet after work for the last of her shots. Poor girl! She will be sore again tonight.

Made, your cold air is coming this way! It was 80 degrees Sunday and Monday and we have some snow coming through tonight and freezing temps. I just got done covering my poor lettuce, spinach, peas, onions, berries, and garlic. I hope they make it through the cold!

Must admit, I do enjoy a cold day even after the winter. I realized 80 degrees is about all I can handle, lol. I need some Christmas song-listenin' weather!

Merry Tuesday! Good morning! I have just skimmed over a few posts really quickly, I hope I have not missed any major news.

The children just woke me up with breakfast in bed. They are only 6 and 2 and they are not allowed to use the toaster or kettle so the result was a glass of milk and buttered slices of bread It melted my heart.

I am just popping in quickly before we head out for the day. We are going to Eureka , a children's museum about an hour away. It is a beautiful day, the birds are singing, new flowers have bloomed and not a cloud in sight.
