Good morning MMC! As Brad said a good Good Friday to all!

I am cruising right along this morning - even though I slept in until after 8! I got the bathroom upstairs all clean, the toilet area & shower in the main bath is done - Lexi came over to play & gracie looked like a wet dish rag after being rolled around in the wet grass, but she has been snoozing every since!! Kinda nice this morning! I got all the eggs boiled & the stuffing for deviled eggs is all mixed up, just need to add the yolks. Dishes are done - for now. I am working on a Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake right now. This is a new recipe I have never tried before & I'm making it for Jims family. It makes me a little nervous b/c they are the most picky eaters - ever!! What am I thinking??? :lol:

My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren are in Galveston for the weekend so I will not see them for Easter. It will be a quiet Easter for Snow-in-Texas and I. Church in the morning then off to my job to feed the animals but we are closed to the public. I get to spend all the holidays with the critters! It is suppose to be rainy Easter but if it lets up we might take a bike ride and maybe a walk out at the Arboretum. Really not sure of the whole day yet, we just might relax and hang out at home!

I see all these pictures of everyone's furry kids. I need to post some of mine! =)


I missed all your post yesterday, I hope I didn't miss anything important!

I'm hooked on Groupon! This is the first time I have actually bought merchandise from them but we always get our restaurant discounts through them. Been doing so for years. We have an app on our phone so no printing up the certificate, you just purchase it and show the coupon at the counter. We go to so many restaurants and only pay 10 bucks for a $20.00 gift certificate. Not a bad deal to dine out at a restaurant for 2 for only 10 bucks! Plus tip, of course! Yes, we do tip appropriately the percentage as if we spent 20 bucks. =)

Amazon Local Deals have the same thing but not as much of a selection. The problem with them is when you buy a certificate it is not effective until the next day. Groupon you can buy and use as soon as you purchase!

You usually have up to 3 months to use them too so we sometimes stock up!

We love Groupon, too!!
Used it a lot in Vegas!

Hello and Happy Friday!
It's still going to be on the chilly side today, we will have a high of 45 degrees. We will climb in to the 50's over the weekend so it should feel a bit warmer.
I am just finishing up a menu plan for next week and then I'm going to head to the butcher. Not too much else planned for me today. I called to check the status on my daughters prom dress and was told they should be getting it in a few days. I may take my daughter shopping for a pair of shoes this afternoon since she will need them for the alterations. I made her hair appointment yesterday but she still has to decide where she wants to have her makeup done. Maybe we could do that today too. This school year is flying by, prom will be here before we know it!
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a decent day today with a high in the 60's. There is going to be lots of running for me today. I need to go to shopping to get a few things, then mom has a doctor's appointment to have her blood level checked again, and then we are going out to eat for my niece's birthday tonight. She is 6 today. It's amazing how fast she is growing up. Well I better get my chores done around here so I can get started. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I am not a picky eater at all. I LOVE FOOD! Unfortunately I have tons of food allergies and food intolerance and can't eat much of anything! You would think I was picky if I came to dinner because of it. In fact, I can't eat most of what you are making but I can dream!!! =) It all sounds yummy!!!

It is wonderful! Living on a budget makes it nice to be able to go out to eat often with Groupon! You can actually go to a restaurant and it's cheaper than fast food - yummier too!!!

Good Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I took the day off yesterday and spent the day in Savannah with Nancy. We rarely have time alone, so although we went to Walmart and a doctor's appointment, we had a good time. When we got home, we went to our nephew's T-ball game, then we took him to McDonald's. Not a bad day!
