Good Morning.

New week -- new count figures.
To wit:
Days to the Season: 206
Days to Christmas Day: 248

And the numbers tell us that we are now under 1 week away from the 200-day Season Window.
What's more, only five days separate us from the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
(Moving right in there!)


Still coolish yesterday but sunny, calm and dry. Not really too bad for mid April, with lots of blooming flowers out.
Should be a nice week here with highs in the 70's and only rain predicted for one day toward mid-week.
We are at 46 degrees here right now.

On a side note - my sisters shredded ham was delicious yesterday! It almost tasted like bbq beef! Everyone liked it & asked for the recipe. :grin:

Things are moving quickly, but lots of rain is in the forecast. I had to have more Vitamin B shots and had to go in for my Zometa infusion--yuck! I finally learned that the Zometa and the Arimidex (the once-a-day cancer medicine that I have to take for five years) are probably the cause of the pain and the tiredness. At least now I know why I am so tired and hurt so much. That is really half the battle! TTYL

I remember my girlfriend having to do that, we had a big celebration party when she was done. She has been cancer free for 3 years now!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Wow, I'm certainly gratified to see the sun shining this morning, it was such a wet weekend. My rain gauge is broken, but my uncle who lives nearby said he poured 4" out of his gauge Saturday afternoon.

We had a great Easter! I ate too much at mom's, the waaay too much at Nancy's parents'. We hid eggs for our nieces & nephews, then made it home in time to crash on the couch.

Happy Easter, my dear friends! I hope this finds you sleeping very soundly...unless you are Binger. In that case, I hope this finds them drinking their 4th pot of coffee this morning.

Going out to eat today, but I had some work to get done. Been up since 4:30 and wanted to take a little break. In case you didn't know, this is the best place in the world to take a break.

I better get going, there is a lot to do and a little time to do it.

I still at work at this time yesterday! Hope you and your family had a blessed Easter.

Good Easter evening MMC! Hard to believe the Easter weekend is coming to an end. It's kinda like the post Christmas blues setting in!!

Jay did make an appearance at Easter & he looks really good! They probably stayed 1 1/2 hrs. Everyone was SO happy to see all of them & he is extra thankful right now! My brother mentioned that today could have been the day after the funeral, instead (thankfully) it was a great day of celebration! And what a beautiful day it was! It was almost HOT sitting in the back yard. (not complaining!) I had to break out the shorts today. Love it! After the family left we sat outside in our neighbors back yard with 3 other neighbors/families. What an awesome day!

Made - so glad you are ok! How scary!!!!

Snowflake - what an adorable picture of Harlowe! Gracie is out like a light - she had a big day! Buster is snoozing too, but he slept through most of the party.

Seawaters - so glad you got some answers. Keeping you in my prayers!

I think I'm going to turn in soon, but I don't want too b/c before I know it the alarm will be going off & it's back to work! Wishing I would have taken tomorrow off! Ah well - back at it! Have a great night everyone!

Happy Easter, MMC!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 74 today. Perfect for Easter eggs hunt. I'm getting ready to head to my sister's house here soon. I have to run by the grocery store on the way there though. My niece has decided that she wants fried okra for lunch today too. So I have to pick some up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

It's been a very wet weekend, but that's ok. We've had a good time indoors together, and...

• The kids went with their youth group at church to work a soup kitchen, see a movie, then a lock-in at church.
• I did a little work on the Camaro, and
• Nancy had a chance to go shopping with her mom & sister.

Not too bad! Now we're late for church again, but we should have a good afternoon at my mom's then Nancy's parents'.

I thank the Lord for everything He's done!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Good news! Jay is coming home today & he wants to make an appearance at our Easter party!! :???: He might change his mind after his trip hone but I'm so happy & hopeful for a 100% recovery!! Thanks again for all the prayers!

For some reason I cant see the picture of Mades niece on this (kindle) but I will look again at home! (I'm at the lake) CAH- such cute pics of your fur babies & cute pic posted by track too!

Unfortunaltely I don't have time to catch up anymore on here but I wanted to wish you all a happy & blessed Easter!!!
