Make your apartment sparkle later this week when it's back into the 50's! LOL! I know, I know...you are leaving! If everyone says you aren't coming back, why do you care if your apartment is clean?? JUST KIDDING!!! you better come back!
Thanks! Hopefully both the movie & Gracie are good! Hope you get that cleaning done soon so you can get outside!!!!

LOL!!!!! I just gave up on the cleaning. My sister called and she is bringing in my niece's while my BIL takes her to the ER. She was diagnosed with Pleurisy last week and she said it's gotten so bad that can barely breathe. So the doctor's office is sending her in to make sure she doesn't have a partially collapsed lung.

Good afternoon all! Just thought I'd get on to say something about this; evidently there's such a security hole in Internet Explorer right now that Homeland Security is recommending you not use it. Here's the story from their page...click here. I wouldn't have known about it, only I logged into our online refill program at the doctor's office where I work, and our online refill provider was refusing Internet Explorer until the problem was taken care of. I'm not enough of a tech guru to understand the whys and wherefores of all this, but I thought it might be important enough to let you guys know. I can't have my Christmas Friends being brought down by (Bah! Hum-) Bugs now, can I?

(BTW; we tend to use Firefox in the office, so we're all safe and sound!)

LOL!!!!! I had the fan running and all of a sudden it just stopped. So I walked over to it and just shook it some and all of a sudden flames started shooting out of the back of it around the speed switch and out the top around the oscillating button.

I just unplugged it and blew into the back of it and the flames went out.

Didn't even singe my hair!!!

xx

That is a YIKES! :o Glad you didn't burn the place down!!!

Oh ugh! I hope it's "just" Pleurisy. That is so painful - my nephew has had that a few times. I feel so sorry for him when he gets that! And once you get it once, you're more susceptible to it! UGH! Hope she gets better quickly!!!

Thanks MerryBells! We got a warning email from our tech support too. It sounds like you are attacked if you open a link in an email they "trick" you into opening. Our tech says you can use Firefox or Chrome but beware b/c they have issues too. Sooo ??? Darn people! Why can't they leave us alone??

I never did have a chance to catch up today! It's been a busy day! I did read about Brad's Elizabeth! I hope she is feeling better after her fall & congrats to her on making the cut!!!!

Oh, my, praying everything is okay!

Three tornado warning from 12:00-3:30 a.m. means very little sleep. But I can catch up on sleep....just grateful that we are all ok. One of the towns that was hit last night was torn apart in 2011. They rebuilt and I'll be darned if they tornado didn't follow almost the exact path this time. Many of those who lost everything had just gotten everything back together. A sub-division of 56 new houses was leveled.

When I got to work and didn't have my brand of coffee, I was upset with myself. Once I realized how asinine that was, I laughed at myself. Taking for granted the fact that my coffee maker was still in a house and that I still had a house should have been what I thought.

It's times like these you learn to appreciate the blessings that you have.

Well said, Coach!
Those poor people, going through another round of loss and devastation. Praying for them!!

Just quick update appears we had tornado come thru lynchburg in to tullahoma. Walked around house looks ok but need to wait for sun to come upp. Thanks for the prayers.

I'm glad you and your MIL survived. So sorry there was a lot of damage at the school ~ I hope no one was there at the time!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth is still awfully sick. It's not the flu, but she's coughing & sneezing & wheezing terribly. The doctor prescribed antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. The poor thing came to our room at 4am coughing, bless her heart. I wish I could bear that sickness for her. :-(

We're planning to go to our nephew's T-ball game this afternoon, but it looks like that bad weather is coming our way, too. I don't think it's supposed to be as bad by the time it gets here, though. Our corporate office is in Birmingham, and as a result I have a lot of friends in that area. They said it got pretty rough, but I don't know anyone who had any damage to speak of.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Praying Elizabeth is better soon!

Worrying about all of you in the Southland. I heard that more severe weather is due today. Check in when you can and let us know that you're okay! It was so upsetting to read about the town that had just recovered, and got hit again. So tragic to lose everything, then to lose everything a second time. As CAH mentioned, it's a good reason to count your blessings if you have a roof over your head and are safe.

Rough day at work yesterday---got out of the office at 9:15 p.m., and worked all day with a headache and ringing in my ears. Better this morning.

I'm sorry you had a rough day at work yesterday. Hope today is much better!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Praying all of you have a MERRY and safe day!!!

looks like you made that fan very angry, never shake it again!

Wow! I give up! I feel so depleted, no energy whatsoever! I did manage to get a few things done.

Oh well, just make the best of it! My granddaughter and I have been hanging out on the couch watching the birds at the bird feeder and birdbath. We are also going online trying to identify a few of the birds that we don't recognize. My granddaughter even put a blanket over me and told me to just rest! cheesy

I think I am going to pop in a Christmas Yule Log DVD while we do this!

Hopefully my energy will return shortly and I can get back to work, for now, just going to enjoy some rest with my granddaughter!

I hope everyone is having a Merry Day!!!

I hope you feel better soon!

I heard about that this morning, I am staying away from it for now too.
