No rain, gentle breezes, low humidity, reduced pollen.
"It is the best of times" here weather-wise.
Currently, we stand at 61 degrees here in our corner of MMC.

Merry Morning! I hope everyone is well, it is difficult to keep up these days

The skies have opened up again here. Heavy rain is back. My gardens are saturated and pools of water everywhere. Atleast we had a bit of a break recently. It is predicted to go on for a few days so raincoats and willies for us!

I made some good progress with my work yesterday so I will be continuing with that today. I just finished dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors so I figured I deserve a coffee break before I start

Good evening,

Very long night at work, my best employee is going to be out for a little bit of time, she tripped at a concert over the weekend and they think she broke her leg. We are still waiting to hear from her about it. So now we will have to pick up the slack.

Back first thing in the a.m. I set it up well for myself so it should be a easy morning. Tomorrow after work I am taking JP to see the Red Sox 2013 World Series Championship trophy, the Sox tour it around New England to celebrate with fans and our town is tomorrow. I had a chance 20 years ago to see the Stanley Cup, but didn't go, I have regretted that since, I don't want to miss this chance.

It was an accident that Wayne and I saw the Stanley Cup. We went to the mall on Black Friday a few years ago to see the ice skating show and as we were leaving Wayne had this shocked look on his face and said, "The Stanley Cup"!!! We had no idea it was going to be there. He was happy for sure! We hopped in line and got a few pictures taken with it.

Enjoy going to see the Red Sox trophy with JP! I am sure you will have a chance to see the Stanley Trophy again sometime.

The bad news- I brought her car to pick her up and the fuel pump went out on it right as I turned into the Hospital parking lot.

I'm still trying to catch up on all the voicemails and emails I missed while I was out yesterday. I really hate missing a whole day, just because I get so far behind. I don't know if I can afford to miss a whole week at vacation time!

Well the mri shows she most likely has a bleed into the muscle in her shoulder. Ortho is going to be in here soon to check everything out for certain. She'll be in here again tonight though.

Well it doesn't sound pleasant but they said he will probably try to drain the blood off of it and then ice and a sling.

Heading to the Pines. After seeing the ortho doctor stick a 5 inch long needle into my mom's shoulder, I need a drink!!! LOL!!!

He wasn't able to get much blood out of it but did put lidocane in it to help numb the pain. They are going to do some therapy with her tomorrow and he will be back in to check on her before sending her home.

Oh ouch! Still praying for you & your Mom! Hope she had a good nights sleep! And you too after the strong drink at the Pines!! :smile: Hope today is a better day!

The Bee is over, and Elizabeth placed 4th out of 20, while Jacob bombed his first word. He went in bragging about not needing to refresh his mind with the list of words and blew it with "hallelujah". To tell the truth, I'd probably have to look that one up, too.

My co-worker that was in the motorcycle accident had one of several surgeries to come. Several of the vertebrae in his neck were broken, along with several ribs and a shattered arm. He also damaged an artery in his neck and has several blood clots forming as a result of all this trauma. The doctors did a surgery to try to stabilize the broken vertebrae in his neck, screwing plates across each one on the "front side" of his neck. When he's recovered form that surgery, they are going to do the same thing on the back side on his neck. Currently, he can't feel his hands or fingers, so they are hoping that fusing his neck will help with that.

Congrats to Elizabeth ~ sorry to Jacob. I always use Siri to spell "Hallelujah" for me! That's a tough one to remember for some reason!

I never thought of using Siri as a spelling dictionary!

Mr. finds Siri rather freaky. Sometimes he'll wonder aloud what the temperature is or when the Red Sox game starts, so I'll get my phone and ask Siri. It just amazes him. (Well, it still amazes me, too!) Occasionally we'll get silly and start a stupid dialogue with Siri just to see what it will say.
