Hello all. I'm back from a busy week!

Today was the last day if school for the kids. Summer time is here!

Happy struck again and got an entire large pizza off the counter and ate it!

Other than that, just glad to have a long weekend. I hope you all have a great weekend too!

Congrats to the kids for being done for another year!

Just checking in to say hi! Lisa has already went to bed, she's got to get up at 5am to go to work tomorrow morning. So, Vicki and I and sitting here, chilling out, watching Love it or List it and nibbling on cheese and crackers.

She's going to a dance tomorrow night and she had this dress that needed to be taken in just a bit here and there (she's got a size 0) and I had to still take it in a bit.... Yes, among my may talents, I also learned how to sew just a little bit over the years and I do all the sewing for everyone here~

Well hope everyone is having a nice evening and I will talk to you tomorrow!!!:!!

You gotta be kidding me! It's been almost a week since I posted last? I could have sworn I posted Wednesday night.



Two more weeks! Two more weeks! Vacation time is around the corner. I'm taking a week off on June 9 and I can't wait! I am so ready for a break. Wish we got a three day weekend to celebrate, but snow days are forcing us to school Monday. That's ok....I'm about to give the next two days all I got. We bought Bambina a little splash pool for this weekend...so we are gonna have fun in that. I can't wait.



Hope all is well. Going to spot check on everything and see how all is going. Y'all enjoy tomorrow. I will see y'all around this weekend!

Back at last!

A last minute change of plans.

We are now leaving for the beach later this morning and will return late Monday.

So, alas, I must request another volunteer for tomorrow and Monday mornings.

Short notice, but.....well.....you know how that goes!

A BIG THANKS to 'Star who shone bright this past week as countdown captain while I was away. Great job, my friend!

Can the count really have declined that much while I was away?

Just look how close we are to the 200-day Christmas Day Window and a double-100's count. And that just happens to be our next Milestone!

(It pays to be gone. And then again, it doesn't!)





Well, our weather was spectacular for Florida in May.

Not a single day of rain and the temps were for the most part in the '70's and '80's. Not overly humid, either.

Had a nice trip to visit relatives, some of whom we had not seen in years.

Two of them are over 90 years old.

We are at 59 degrees here currently in the capital city.

Good morning!
It's going to be mostly cloudy today with a chance of showers. My oldest is going to an all day music festival, I'm hoping the rain holds off for them.
I'm heading out to the supermarket in a few minutes. I have a really big shopping trip, my regular grocery list plus everything we need for Memorial Day. I'll be working on some chores around the house afterward. And my cousin is having a barbeque today, she invited us to go later this afternoon. My husband is working so I'm not sure if we'll go or not, depends on what time he gets home. That's about it for me today.
I hope everyone is well and has a Happy Saturday!!!

Today is the anniversary of my dad's home going. It has been 17 years already, I miss him.
Mom and I are going to the cemetery to clean the headstone and plant some flowers.
This is dad with mom and my 2 girls in the spring of 1987 (LittleCS is the one without the hat)

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I didn't even get a change to post yesterday. We had VP's in from corporate, and they all wanted the tour and to present our facility's award for the best safety record. Afterwards, we had smoked ribs & chicken, coleslaw, tater salad and banana (nanner around these parts) pudding. They let the guys go home early for the long Memorial Day weekend, too. Nice!

I took Jacob and a few of his buddies out to see Godzilla in Imax last night. It was great!

Now I'm off to the landfill to unload my trailer full of junk that came out of my shop last week. I have to get there early, because they close at noon on Saturday. How is a working man supposed to get anything done when the dump closes early on Saturday?!? LOL

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 76 later this afternoon. I need to run to the grocery store but I'm trying to wait until the rest of the family figures out what I have to make for our cookout on Monday so I don't have to make two trips. It might be Monday before they decide though at the rate they are going. So for now, I'm just going to kick back and watch some Nascar coverage. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

Good morning, buddy! No one else has decided in my family what they are bringing to my picnic either, so I will make what I want, they can show up, and can bring something if they want! Hope you enjoy your day and the Nascar!

Good Morning! It's a glorious, mild, sunny morning here. I'm sitting here enjoying a freshly brewed cup of Folgers classic roast coffee, just put some bacon in the cast iron skillet (I love the cast iron skillets) and waiting for my girl to get her noodle head out of bed. I'm going to do some electrical work, and some masonry point up work and cleaning and caulking today around the house.

Good morning, all! How are you all doing? I am well! Thanks for all who replied last night to my post about camping. We had a blast. We'll probably camp out the rest of the weekend too.

What is everyone's plans today? DH, the kids, and I are going to head down to an amusement that is only a few miles from our house this afternoon. The kids want to ride the waterslides too, but it's just not warm enough here yet. They'll have fireworks there tonight so we'll be able to enjoy that as well.

I hope whatever you do, you guys have a wonderful day and a great weekend!

I know I'm getting wordy this morning, but I had to tell y'all:

A couple days ago I told y'all I had to tell a few girls at lunchtime that they couldn't swim in our pool since we're never around. That afternoon, I came home from work and found a mess of duct tape scattered around my deck and in my yard. Also, the new swim goggles that Nancy bought for Elizabeth were gone.

My neighbor said that as soon as I left for work after lunch, she saw those girls climb my railing and jump in the pool. Then the girls found a roll of duct tape that I had left out and they tore it up into little pieces and threw it everywhere.

When I heard that, I looked across the street where the girls live and they were playing in their yard. I drove across the street, and they seemed so surprised when I stopped. They were still wet in their clothes. I said, "You girls went in my pool after I said you couldn't, didn't you?" They both had that deer-in-headlights look, and one of them nodded. I said, "And you made a mess in my yard with the roll of tape and took the new goggles, didn't you?" Same look, same girl nodded.

I told them that I wasn't going to their parents with it this time, but that they were not allowed in our yard again. I really hate doing that, but I can't abide retaliatory children who don't like being told no.

I heard later that day that another neighbor had to run them out of their pool after finding them in there uninvited. They had lied to the man who handles my neighbor's landscaping, saying they had permission.

It sounds like these children's parents need to start doing their job. I don't know them, they are recent renters, but they are never outside and the girls are just running around wild.

If I get many more complaints about these girls, the mayor might have to make a visit. :x

that is actually scary, hate to think of one or both drowning in one of the pools because no one was around to help. Not a good situation at all.
