Happy Thursday morning. I've been away a long time. Time is going by too quickly. Can't believe the wife and I have been married 32 years today.

It has been a year of 'last time'. Our only child (Ethan) is finishing up his senior year of high school. His baseball career is now over. Senior day at our last home game was tough. He has played organized baseball since he was 5. We attended our final high school academic and sports banquets this week. The Baccalaureate service for seniors is at our church on June 4. He graduates high school June 6 and will give the closing prayer at graduation. I'm sure I will lose my manhood that day.


Move-in day at Gardner Webb University is August 15. We will begin a new chapter in our lives. Not sure I'm ready for it.


Enough of me pouting... Have a blessed day everyone.

Happy Anniversary!! Wow, 32 years? Nancy and I will be 20 years in November, and I thought that was a long time! I hope she's not reading this!

I bet it's tough with Ethan leaving for college. I'm glad I still have a couple years to go before Jacob leaves.

Long, very long night at work, I am so done there. I need to leave there, the sooner the better. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers to give me strength to find something new. I catch the 3rd degree about following a state law to make sure no one gets in trouble, and I get in trouble for doing the correct thing. That truly is the last straw. I am so sorry for ranting, but I am so ticked tonight.



Tomorrow will be another busy one, work all day and then JP has a baseball game. So I won't get back here again until late.

I am so sorry Xmas, those circumstances at work are truly frustrating and stressful. You deserve a lot better. I most certainly will be keeping you in prayer and wishing the best of luck in your search for something else.

Makes me sad too! I was a senior in high school when Friends ended and I loved that show. It makes me feel like I'm getting older as well!

Thank you! But I heard that there'll be something on my desk in the morning that "has" to be done by 11am. Don't know if it'll be five pages or 50. So it may be another day like today. *sigh* I hurt all over just from the tension of working at full speed all day. Hanging out in bed with my iPad trying to slow down. (Time to stop whining, I know.)

Bentley & Bella are doing well. I'm still patiently waiting for Ben to calm down, lol. Not sure if he ever will, he sure keeps me on my toes!
The ducks were here today. I almost didn't see them, they were sitting under a park bench in the yard. I'm use to them being in the pool. It's a good thing I spotted them before I let Molly & Maggie out!

Aw, it is a good thing you checked! I'm glad Bella and Bentley are doing well! Bentley is such a dear ~ so much fun when they have such personalities! Palmer is almost three and she still has her manic days. She is sleeping right now, but around 9 tonight she will start to get real active, playing with her toys and racing around the house. Good day Christmas buddies! I have been swamped with work over here and it's been months since I have been here. I hope everyone is doing good and having a great summer so far I know it's just begun(unofficially)! I am terribly homesick these days too, I have just 3 months and a few weeks until I return stateside, Brandi is home alone with the boys and hanging in there. Thank goodness her mom came the whole month of April to help her out and she will be coming back the whole month of August because Brandi is going back to teaching in the fall and then I will come home in Sept and work the evening shifts so I can keep the boys during the day..that will save so much$$$ daycare is outrageous! I miss everyone here and I know I have a lot of new people tomeet when I get settled back home!!! Take care buddies!

There wasn't any mention of storm warnings or tornado warnings at all! Scary!! All of the storm warnings were for Memorial Day, only a 30% chance of rain on Tuesday and it rained and stormed the entire day.
Animals are so smart!!

I agree about animals being so smart! When I am home and the birds suddenly get quiet, I know to check the sky and check the weather radio for warnings.

Mouse would have been 18 today so it hasn't been the happiest of days for me. I really miss her!

Hey fyi, my son is no longer at Lackland, he's now at Sheppard until the middle of June and then he will be at Martins ANG @ Middle River, MD for 3 months; so he's bouncing all around as well....Lucky him~

Good evening,

Heading to bed shortly, just checking in beforehand.
It was a cold night up on the hill watching JP's baseball game, it is the end of May and we were wearing winter jackets and blankets watching the game. It also doesn't help that is the field the tornado went through and destroyed all the forest around it so the cold wind just whips right through. Brrrrrrrrrr!
I am having issues with the foot I ruptured the ligament in a few years ago, it is a little swollen and very sore. I am hoping being out in the cold has something to do with it.

Just have to get through tomorrow for my day off on Friday, I haven't looked forward to a day off this much in a while.

Good evening! It's a little cooler here now with some light sprinkles but the air smells nice and weather has been a blessing for the last two or three weeks so I am not complaining. :] Heard that Lithuania experienced a serious heat wave last week but it's cooler there as well which is good because I am not psychologically prepared for 30C/86F right now. :lol: I am leaving tomorrow morning and I will get home very late at night so I probably won't pop in. Anyway, I will come to say 'hi' on Friday.
