Tonight we had dinner with some friends from church then played Monopoly. On the way home we passed by a house with a tree in front of it wrapped in red and white "Christmas" lights!!! For 4th of July, of course, but how cool to see that this time of year! I wish I would have got a picture of it.

My day was busy but really nice. The graduation ceremony was beautiful. The weather was perfect which was a relief since we were outside the whole time. Then we all went out for Chinese food at P.F. Chang's. We gave my daughter her graduation gift, it was a ring and thankfully she loved it. Then we had to stop at a friends barbeque for a little while. And unfortunately I had to go food shopping this evening because I never made it there yesterday. I'm beat! My daughter is graduation party hopping this evening. I'm looking forward to her party tomorrow. All of my girls have off from work for the entire weekend, it's been great!

Hey everyone! Haven't been here a few days. Had a problem logging on, was working on my application for a program, and was just kinda busy....but it's the 4th of July week and I'm off....so y'all get to put up with me a lot more the next 7 days!

Really, really excited about this week. The 4th of July is a big week for me as it signifies time to get in serious prep mode for Christmas. While it's still far away, I can't believe how far we have come this year so fast! We are really doing some planning for Bambina's birthday, too. We went to the cake place and they gave us sample cupcakes....it's a tough life, but somebody has to do it.

Y'all have a good one. I'm going to try to find some water to put the Babygirl in.

I can't believe that Bambina's Birthday is coming up already!

My parents are about a 5 minute drive from us and my daughter's house is about that far as well. Now I will be in walking distance to my daughter's house when she moves back! I can't believe at one time my daughter talked about moving somewhere that would take about a 20 minute drive to her house and I was crushed, Ha ha!!! Silly, I know, but we never been that "far" away from each other. She didn't end up moving there. I love being close to my family!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hello, since it's been a few days since I've posted. I'm working a good bit of overtime and when I'm not at work, I've been busy with the kids. I've been trying to fit in some sleep too.

Stormy night here...started around 10:30 pm and it has been going at it ever since. Slept till 12:30 and I have been up since. It's ok, I will take a nap or something later, but it's just unusual for this to happen to me during the summer. Now, it happens about 2x a month during the school year....but not summer.

Oh well...just more time to drink coffee and read the boards!

Thanks, made! They only woke us up once, so I was happy to get a pretty good night of sleep considering how loud and severe they were before bed. Last I heard before I drifted off, was that they were telling people not to drive unless it was absolutely necessary. Downtown had flooded, and our neighborhood looked like a lake.
