Good Sunday Morning, MMC!!!!!!!! Sunday is usually my favorite day of the week. Why you may ask? Well it's race day of course!!!!! Even mother nature agrees. She rained out the race last night just so that we would have a race today. So with all of that being said, why don't we race our way into today's count-

Days to the Season: 130

Days to Christmas Day: 172

Only 8 days until the 2/3rd way mark to the Season too!!!!

Wow!!! Just wow!!!! Where has the year gone?

I'm off to run a few errands before the race starts and then I'll work some hallmark movies in there later too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

It is going to be a hot & humid day here, highs in the upper 80's. Already at 90% humidity. So, I think I'll mostly be hanging out in the AC! And watching Hallmark, of course!

I adore road trips! I leave for Vermont on Friday and that is my upcoming road trip (about 9 hours)

A local restaurant sent me a 25% off coupon for my birthday, so we ate out today. (The restaurant was closed yesterday; the coupon was good anytime during the month.) Not only did we have a very good dinner at a discount, but each table got a sheet of patriotic window clings to take home. We also belong to their "club," so we earn points every time we eat there. 150 points gets you $10 off your next check. This weekend diners earn double points.

Today's weather is everything yesterday's wasn't. Warm but not too hot; sunny and breezy. Reminds me of Hawaii! I hope tomorrow is the same. It feels so good!

It'll be tough going back to work Monday, but the agency has worked so hard throughout the spring that everyone gets a day off in July and another one in August, plus I've earned two more days off for Sunday work. So even though it'll be tough going back to regular workweeks, I'll enjoy planning when to have my days off. Christmas and the day after are office holidays this year---I could add three days to that and take off the entire week! I haven't been able to do that before.

Hallmark is on and I'm enjoying the heck out of some Christmas movies even if they are kind of dorky!

It was a nice slow day at work. Got home and my BIL took the boys out for dinner so my wife had a nice dinner and ice cream at Westview Farms Creamery right here in town. It was delicious, especially my coffee ice cream in a waffle cone. cheesy

Just relaxing now, enjoying the evening.

Oh boy it's getting late, but, I have to keep myself up tonight so as to help me switch around my internal sleeping clock. Starting tomorrow night, I have to drive to Virginia, to start working on another engineering project. The hours though, are going to really stink, it's the overnight shift....I have to be in Virginia by 1:00am and work to 8am, up and down a ladder all night long, then drive back home; Yuck.....

I'm sitting here watching the hockey movie "Miracle", (great movie, especially, if you like Ice hockey and the Olympics). Well, I hope you have all had a nice day so I will wish you all a good night!!!!:merry:

Good morning!
It's going to be a nice day, mostly sunny with temperatures around 80 degrees.
Woke up with a headache today but I took something and I'm feeling better already. My SIL was making watermelon daiquiris yesterday and boy were they good!
Not too much going on for me today. My youngest and oldest have to work, my middle one & her boyfriend are going to a car show in New Jersey and my husband has a lot to do around the house. I think I'm going to take a ride to the mall and do a little shopping, there are a few things that I need. I'm also going to stop at Hallmark and renew my Keepsake Ornament Club membership. I'm looking forward to the premiere on the 12th!
