Oh my word...what a controlling jerk! Why would anyone stay with someone like that?! I know you & I wouldn't take it!!!! That is seriously so sad & unfortunate.
I would help you hit them with candy canes, lol!!! I know you would have my back, too!! And Made has money set aside to "bail" us out! cheesy
Santa has put him on the naughty list.
Maybe we can also pour some eggnog on his head, wrap him up with Christmas lights and sing, The Twelve Days of Christmas, to him for 12 straight days!
Oh my! We are getting so violent!
Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high near 80 degree's. I don't have much planned for today. Just going to be working around the apartment. My sister and niece's just took off from Seattle here a bout an hour ago and will be home this afternoon. So I will be waiting to hear from them too before heading out to the Pines tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the nice welcome back! It's always great to see that people remember me.
We have a cold front here for three days now. Weather forecast says it will get warmer tomorrow, but I don't trust them. It's rainy and looks like fall. While I love fall I want to have a real summer first!
Unfortunately we don't have Christmas in July here in my country. But I remember how it looks like from my holiday trip to the united states. Wish you one too!
Well I have been fine. Some changes at my job, which make my life much easier. And in january I got a great wage increase and a permanent position at my workplace. Theefore I'm very happy. But there where some health issues in my family, some of them serious. I do hope that the second half of the year will be better.
I remember several years before I joined here I was on another site that had multiple subjects to discuss on it, not just Christmas, they had everything. I did join in on a Christmas thread and my jaw just dropped when this one lady said her husband does not allow her to watch Christmas movies until after Thanksgiving. He even hid all the Christmas DVD's in the basement and she was not ALLOWED to get into them. What???!!! Allowed??? She seemed to think this was just fine and would mention how she wanted to watch a Christmas movie in September and would ask for permission to watch one but he would say "no". I mean, come on! I can understand that he does not want to watch them or maybe ask her can she watch them when he is not around so he doesn't have to see or hear it but even if he was gone for the day at work she could not have access to them, ever! They were her movies and she didn't even know where he hid them.
No one would be ALLOWED to hide my Christmas movies!!! I would have to hit them with a candy cane!
Good morning,
Just relaxing before heading to work, it's my late day. Boooo!
It is already quite warm outside, supposed to hit the 90's again.
I hope you all enjoy your day.

Enjoy that nice weather. Is your couch available for me? I may come stay until our little heat wave wraps up!

Stay cool, and have a nice day friend!!
Btw, forgot to tell you that when I was in my local Hallmark Gold Crown store, the ladies there (yes, the infamous Hallmark gals!) said that if I handed in my wish list early, they would make sure they set aside those ornaments for me prior to the unveiling, so they wouldn't sell out. I was impressed! That happened to me last year, with the Santa Cuckoo ClockThat's another one going for big bucks on ebay now, and they never got any more in stock last year either.

Good morning MMC! I'm finally caught up again! YAY!
Not much going on here today. Wednesday is usually my slow day at work & today is no different! Makes for a long day. The last 2 days I was busy getting caught up from my week off, but now I think that's all caught up.
Been thinking about/worrying too much about the addition that's supposed to start on our house next week! EEK! I think I will like having the bigger room (20 x 20) but my hubby marked off the area in our back yard last night & it seems like it's going to take up so much of our yard. In the beginning I was thinking a smaller room - maybe 12 x 20 - but my FIL says "if you're going to do it, go big, you'll never regret it" - so that is what we are doing. And he is right, but it's all just nerve wracking!!! Problem is, it's in the biggest part of Gracie's running area! Poor girl! And to think of all the mud (digging a 4' crawl space under it) and Gracie playing in all that mud. Oh boy... It's going to be an interesting few months! Ok, off my soap box.
I'm watching Home & Family - if any of you are watching, I loved their ornaments & how they talked about ornaments should have a sentimental meaning. I loved Marks John Deere tractor reminding him of his Dad & Paige's Winnie the Pooh in a crib, reminding her of her kids when they were little. Too cute!
Hope you are all having a GREAT Hump/Pines day!!!!
:wiggy:

Well, I'm heading home soon. Wish you all a great evening.
By the way, I like the new Hallmark "the Walton House" ornament. Too bad we don't have a hallmark here. Guess I have to check if they deliver to Switzerland
