My husband wasn't able to replace the battery until late this afternoon but my daughter finally got her car back. She is such a drama queen, what a catastrophe to be without a car for the day. I ended up taking a ride to Hallmark by myself this evening. I was only able to buy one ornament. It's always so hard to choose. I picked up the Four Calling Birds ornament for my Twelve Days of Christmas series :-D

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can someone send a boat to rescue me?? The heavens just opened up here and it's coming down pretty heavy out there!!! It looks like this cell will pass here in another 10 minutes or so and then there is one more small cell to come through. The main event arrives tonight though with really strong storms. Mom is doing pretty good this morning. The shakiness is almost completely gone and just a bit of unsteadiness remains. So hopefully as the day goes on, that continues to improve. Not much on the agenda for me today. Just need to get some stuff done around here and maybe run a few errands. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening all!! Just got in from my brothers, Its my nephews 4th birthday today so they had a party for him at a fun factory then we went back to theirs for a BBQ. Its been a lovely day! my girls are worn out now!

Really fancy doing abit of baking tomorrow, just some muffins and maybe a cake, so going to check my cupboard to see what I need to pick up from the shops in the morning! Bought myself one of those standing mixers/kitchen machines and cant wait to try it out ha!!

We'll just have leftovers this evening, and coconut cake. We never cut the cake yesterday because we were too full after the turkey dinner! And I'm thinking maybe some freshly made popcorn. With a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top. Mmmmm ...

I haven't had coconut cake in ages. I will have to see if I can make a gluten free version for myself. All of your food sounds yummy!
