Been a little crazy around here lately. I do know I'm tired of dealing with this heat, waiting for my cool days.

Thank you---We're fine. I heard there was a bad storm in our town yesterday morning (I was already at the office), but I didn't really see any signs of it when I got home. Keeping our fingers crossed ... most of the severe weather this summer has missed us so far. Just a few thunderstorms that weren't so bad.

I've been thinking of you, too, whenever I see big blobs of red on the radar map west of Worcester. I hope you stay safe.

I am glad the severe storms have missed you this year.

We don't fool around with warnings anymore, you learn after a tornado misses your house by 1/4 mile and you have friends and family who lost everything. Whenever they call a warning we all get that churning in the pits of our stomach, and take cover.

Good morning folks! Tuesday, another day into the work week and seems like we are being blessed with some cooler than usual temperatures; I'll take it. Can you believe that we will be in the first week of August already on Friday, wow, things are starting to move along now. By the end of this work week, will have lost an hour of daylight since June 22nd....

I've was busy this past weekend, keeping up with the yard work, seems like every time we start to get some rain, the grass grows up to 10 inches deep in the lower field. It gets a lot of water run-off from the horse farm next to me, so all that good fertilizer, washes down across my lower field and the grass loves it down there....

We have been consumed with looking for another house, we put a contract in on one yesterday, but have not heard anything yet from the homeowners. I think that there is about a 60/40 chance in getting it, but I truly believe that the homeowner has been busy in calling up other relators that have brought other people thru to look at it and see if they can beat our offer that we put in for the house.

I don't blame the guy, I would do the same thing as well, he wants to get as much as he can for it. We put an offer in that was lower than what he was asking for, because it has been on and off the market for two years now (because he was asking too much money for it) compared to other comps in the neighborhood; beautiful home though and very clean and very well kept.

Were keeping our fingers crossed, hoping and praying for luck to be on our side with this one. I have to always keep reminding myself, that if it's meant to be, then in his way, God will show us and them, the way~

:sparkle:I was just sort of browsing thru some of the Weather sites that I have bookmarked and I came across the Weather Centers predictions for this coming 2014-2015 winter season as follows:

For the Mid-Atlantic: A cooler than normal winter with above average precipitation is currently favored. Snowfall is projected to be above normal.

For the Northeast: A cooler than normal winter with above average precipitation is currently favored. Snowfall is projected to be above normal.

Oh Yes! Looks like the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast is predicted to get clobbered again....I just love the snow~ Now, that thought alone really gets me all excited..... laying:

Wife and kids are up in the Berkshires, they sound like they are having a good time, the boys were upset when they realized they wouldn't see me for 2 days.

I am coming to you from our old laptop, this thing decided it wanted to work today. It turned itself on this morning, I don't get it, so I am testing it out while listening to my music from it. It seems to be working perfectly. Now I can save all my music before it decides to crap out again.

Just winding down watching Gremlins.
