I want ALL OF Y'ALL to know how much your prayers mean to me and my family. I was telling Joshua where everyone was from and that people all over the world were praying for him. He sends his thanks. It is really difficult to see your child suffer, no matter the age and no matter the hurt or illness. I pray for a cure for cancer, for all cancer!

Joshua had a stent put in and felt some relief from the pressure and pain. With his sense of humor, he said it reminds him of a Chinese finger trap. He was able to eat and hold down the food. Hopefully, he will go home today and return when the course of action has been determined. Pray for Melissa's family, too. Her mom has treatments for cancer, and Joshua would take care of her in the two or three hours before bedtime, making sure her oxygen was flowing and just spending time talking with her. He said he really missed this routine and felt he needed to get back to his "job." Since he has neuropathy after his bout with leukemia, he is unable to work outside the home and felt he was contributing to the household in this manner. I have to say something about my family, including nieces and nephews: We have always had a kind heart toward older people. Two of my nieces are RNs. One of them is a geriatric nurse and my sister used to work in a home of older patients. My kids have always been able to sit and talk with grandparents and not feel as if they were wasting their time.

Snowflake, I have thoroughly enjoyed your fall photos. They almost take my breath away. I could look at them all the time.

I have been reading a lot of the posts but don't always have time to answer. I will check in when I can; I am staying logged in to MMC but might not get to respond anymore today. Just know how much I feel your well-wishes.

Oh Seawaters, I was not aware of that, thank you, dear friend, for sharing such private and personal information. I hope and pray for you, your family and most of all, for your son's recovery.

I'm a little bummed to hear the news this afternoon that the Ohio State Quarterback Braxton Miller is out for the season! DARN! Didn't even get to start the season!

Amen!

So - last night after work I brought my kitchen aid mixer out to the lake so I could make cream cheese brownies for my friends/family since they had to put their dog "Bud" down yesterday morning. They were having a very sad day. :( I made the brownies & my hubby calls saying I need to meet him at Menards to pick out our faucets - our contractor had called him & said we needed to have them for today. So I take off, stopped at Walmart, met him at Menards, then my plan was to go back to the trailer, drop off brownies, then home. I get to the trailer....GRACIE had eaten 1/3 of the pan of brownies!!!! :o Besides being worried about her eating chocolate, I was SO MAD! I was going to give her peroxide to make her vomit, but then I read online (many sources) that brownies actually do not have that much chocolate in them unless you add chocolate chips - which I was going too, but I forgot to bring them to the lake. THANKFULLY! I kept my eye on her but she was & is totally fine. Everything stayed down. My friend can't stop laughing at the whole thing!!! LOL! Little booger!!! I guess it gave them something to laugh about on a sad day!

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all doing? I am well, just trying to get caught up here a little bit. What is new and exciting? Not much here, just keeping busy as usual!

I can't believe it's been five days since I last logged in to the site. I knew I hadn't checked in for a few days, but I didn't think it had been that long. DH, the kids, my sister, and her boyfriend, went camping for three days over the weekend. We went to a lake about an hour from our house. We had a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed it.

The kids are getting in to school mode. EA starts Kindergarten and DS will start Preschool next week. I can't believe it. My kids are getting so big!

I'm going to go get some things done and I'll be back. Hope you're all doing well and having a great week so far. Praying for you all. God Bless and keep smiling!

Good evening,

I went to my Dr. appt. today, and now I have to wait for the lab results to come back. The one thing for certain is that I have a sinus infection, the Dr believes I also have kidney stones as among one of the possibilities of what is ailing me. I am on some heavy antibiotics and nasal spray. What a way to spend vacation week. Oh well, C'est la vie!

I am just listening to some music while visiting here.

I hope you all had a good Monday.

Good night, everyone.

Praying you are better soon, xmas!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be hot and humid here today here in the heartland of America. Then severe storms this evening. Oh the fun!! Most of my day will be spent at the doctors office. Mom has an appointment with one specialist this morning and then another one this afternoon. I'm pretty sure I already know what both will say but I've been surprised before. So we will see. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Good afternoon all. Well our only child is now off to college. We moved him this past weekend. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. He is only a 3 hour drive away but it seems like the other side of the world. The house seems like a morgue.

The good news is I can now join in on the countdown. It had been very depressing as the countdown meant we were closer to Ethan leaving for college. The Christmas season will be extra special this year. He will be home 5 days for Thanksgiving and almost the whole month of December. I look forward to again being part of the countdown.

Have a blessed day everyone.

It is good to see you, mgramsey!
