worlds largest swimming pool ! Looks like a perfect day to spend on the beach.

Thank you all! It was definitely a great day!

What I could do is start with this and then see how we like it. Thanks for telling me about this!

I think this is $43 at Amazon. And takes less space than a pizza oven. But I'm not sure how they cook in comparison to an actual pizza oven - all I know is my friend loves hers! Good luck finding exactly what you want!

:whisper:
I thought I would pop in since I had some time on my hands......it's been busy......and I have had some issues with my lower back for the last several weeks...but it is getting almost perfect!

It's truly hard to believe it's just less than 4 months away from the holidays!!!!! Oy.........

I will be quite busy in the next few weeks I will be relocating to my own apartment by November!!!!

So I have much to do really soon. I will start some packing in the next few weeks.

My contract here will end the week I finish my
moving by the 8th of November, but I start my move into my apartment come the end of September!

I can't tell you folks how I will be looking forward to having my own place, and then finding something new to do career wise
.....but my trust is in the Lord to guide me!

Maybe now I will be able to take a couple of weeks off and just relax in my own place without the stress that has been going on here! (The stress caused me my back problems)!

It's good to say hello to you all, and I've missed being here, but that will change before the holiday!

Hope everyone is well, and that blessings have abounded for all!

Later.......you all and talk with you all real soon!

:snowball:SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone???

Glad to hear that you are doing better!!! Hope you enjoy the new apartment and that you can find a new career that you love!!!

Dinner has been in the crockpot since late morning, and it smells so good. Even though it isn't fall yet, we are having homemade beef-barley soup with garlic bread. I like to sauté each group of items to get a delicate brown sheen and then add everything together to continue the cooking process. I am hungry just thinking about it. I found the smallest, cutest red potatoes (at least I think they're cute) that I sautéed in garlic olive oil. I almost popped one into my mouth, but I restrained myself! I often use Emeril's Original Seasoning in a lot of my dishes. Today was no different. I have to admit that when the mushrooms were browned after cooking with Emeril's seasoning, I actually did sneak one, lol. Now I just have to wait until dinner time!

A couple of my friends were complaining about people jumping the gun on fall, but I keep reminding them of all the reasons why fall is BETTER!!! ber-months are almost hereeeeee!!!

I can't wait!!! I love fall!!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Praying for everyone!

Be MERRY!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've been working like a dog this morning. Of course, that consists of keying...but I'm keying feverishly!

I'm looking forward to the 3-day weekend in the cabin, even if my bossy sister-in-law is coming, too. LOL

I beat my co-worker to the punch, and told him I'm taking off the whole week of Thanksgiving for a longer trip to my beloved Smoky Mountains! I'm already dreaming about it.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

So, you are resting a lot today? You remember the conversation about "working like a dog". Dogs like to lay around a lot.

I am so envious of your Thanksgiving trip! I have looked into staying at a cabin for the Thanksgiving holiday and bringing my family to enjoy it there. That would be a blast!!! One of these days I will do that!

That's interesting ... I never knew anyone else who had them. The first time I had the experience it startled me, until I found out what it was by Googling the symptoms. Mine have never involved any pain; they almost always occur while i'm reading something (most of them have been at work, and I'm able to keep proofreading between the "sparkles," oddly enough); they don't seem to be associated with any particular stress; they just show up out of the blue, one or two every one or two years. I have no other migraine symptoms---no killer headaches, no prodrome, no aura.( Of course, I don't fit a pattern!)

My mom is the only person I know to get them. They are annoying and always seem to hit me at a time I am trying to get a lot done. I cannot look at a computer screen or TV during the episode. Everything is a blur.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be hot again and it looks like it's going to stay that way until late next week. Boo!!!! It's been cool all summer and then when summer is almost over it's going to go and get hot? That's not fair!!! I have a few errands to run today so I spent most of the morning getting my chores done and playing phonebook for my neighbor again. I wonder if they will still show up at my door asking me to look up stuff for them after they move at the end of next month. I'm going to try and get caught up some of the podcasts today too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Hey, do you mind looking up a few numbers for me while you're at it?

I hope your day has been going well!

Sounds great!! We'll be there @ 7:30! [emoji2]

We are playing it by ear right now. My Mother-in-law has chemo tomorrow, and depending on how she is feeling this time around, we would love to spend some quality time with her. I was working when she was in town this week, for a different appointment, so I missed her. Quite a phenomenal woman [emoji175]

We also have some dinner plans with friends, and want to go biking on some new trails in the area. And grill out a lot!

Your mother-in-law and your family have continued to be in my prayers daily!

Have fun. We used to love Gaido's Seafood in Galveston. It's on on the corner of 39th street & Seawall Blvd. Haven't been there in several years but it used to be great.

I know that location. We stayed at a Marriott along the Seawall the night before we went on a cruise last year. I will look into that restaurant!

CAH- I expect to see lots of pictures from JSC on facebook!!!!!

I will for sure!!!

This sounds awesome! Have bunches of fun. I am sure your dad will love it.

On another note, I wanted to tell you about a product called MAX-B Complex that "features all eight members of the Vitamin B family in their most optimal form." I have been taking them less than a week and I honestly feel a difference in my energy level. Supposedly, there are other benefits, including memory improvement.

I do take a B Complex vitamin but I will have to look into the one you mention and compare to what I take now. Thanks for the info!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Praying for everyone!

Be MERRY!

Good afternoon, Meceka!! [emoji272]

Now that was cute what you said! Ha ha! You sound like my daughter and I. We are always finding the oddest things to be cute!

Merry Day to you too, my friend!

I had planned to stay home today and get caught up around the house but my dad called and needed to buy some new sneakers for our upcoming trip and wanted me to go with him. The sneakers he has are in awful shape and I told him this tour we are taking is 4-5 hours long and he needs good shoes. The shoes he has are 10 years old and he was trying to super glue the soles on them - that's how bad they are! My mom went along as well but I have to seem to have "babysit" him in making sure he gets good comfortable shoes. My mom just wasn't sure what he should get. I don't mind "babysitting" my parents. They took care of me growing up so it's time for me to look after them! =)

It was funny because I had picked out several for him to try on and after he tried them all on I asked which ones felt the best. He pointed to his old cruddy ones and said, "Those do"! Ha ha! He is so funny!

I don't want anyone to get the image that my parents are not of sound mind. They are independent and can take care of themselves, I just like to help them when I can! I take advantage of any quality time I can get with them too even if it's shopping for shoes! =)
