TGIF, my Christmas friends!
I'm ready for the long weekend to begin! It's hard to keep my mind on the job today, but I have some things that are demanding my attention.
The weekend should be fun at the cabin, but Lulu can't come. She's staying with my mom, but, I swear, I hate to leave her behind. She loves my mom, but I know she'd rather be with us. I'm getting silly in my old age, eh? LOL
I have to go out to my brother's to get one of our trailers so I can take our golf cart to the cabin. If there's no cable, at least I can ride around and explore...maybe.

We got through our granddaughter's first day to school. My daughter said she teared up a bit but saw the excitement in my granddaughter's face she did okay when she left her there. Praying you will hold up! I am sure you will do fine!

Good morning everyone! It was quite a chilly morning when I took my dog for a walk. If I had dressed better, it would have been more enjoyable. ^^
It was nice meeting my friend yesterday. We went to the coffee shop to have some yummy coffee with some free chocolate. I didn't know it was given out but it was nice. :]
I didn't find anything I was looking for uni but I bought a brithday gift for my aunt. I was worried if my mum liked the gift as mush as I did but luckily, she was happy with my choice. Phew. ^^
I have some things to do around the town today so I'd better go and wash my hair now. :>

No, you are not being silly at all. I get terrible anxiety when I have to leave my dogs home when we travel, even if it's just one night. I try to take them with me anytime I can but there are occasions they cannot go. My dogs get to stay at home in their familiar surroundings because my grown son is always here to take care of them and other family members come by and/or stay the night here but I still hate leaving them! So I understand! =)

Chores must get done today and all I have been doing is running all week long. By the time I would get home I would be too wiped out to get anything done. I have not listened to the podcast yet so I plan to do that today.

I waited until she walked in to cry. I was strong (until she couldn't see me!) There were parents crying when we got there. EA looked at them like they were crazy. LOL. I cried the whole way home! I'm doing okay now. Ella is cuddling with me!

I thought I was going to do okay, but I failed. I did fine until she walked in, then the tears fell like a flood. I cried the whole way home. I think it hit me like a wall - with DS starting Preschool this week, which I did okay with (which surprised me, since he is the baby), then her starting today, it was a hard week for me. I think more than anything, reality is just really striking me and it's hard - where did these 5 years go?! I'm doing better now, especially since I know she is okay.

Good Friday morning everyone. We will soon be leaving to pick up Ethan at college and heading to Myrtle Beach. Will be meeting my Dad, brother and his family for the 3 day weekend. It's a long drive (7 hrs) for a 3 day weekend but my Dad wants us to go and we get to spend time with Ethan too. Talk to y'all Tuesday.

I'm the same way! Ella goes with us all the time too, except when we go to the beach, which is a week long and that kills me. I literally bawl like a baby. She is part of the family, which you all know, so that makes it so hard to leave her behind. My in-laws have dog, so they watch her and they play together, so I know she's in good hands and having fun. That at least making it's a little better!
