I love Friday.

More than that, I love cool Saturday mornings when I can sit on the deck and drink coffee.....which is where I will see you in the morning!

It is grey, misty and chilly this morning. I have to say it really puts me in a festive mood! I felt like watching Home Alone when I woke up. One of the theme songs was playing in my head lol

I was awakened by sirens, lots and lots of sirens by the highway. Praying for those involved with whatever is going on.

I think I will lay back down for a bit, too early to be up on a Saturday.

And what a relief it is to know how close we are to Christmas Season 2014.
......Or is it?.......

Here are the numbers:
Days to the Season: 61
Days to Christmas Day: 103

And those numbers also tell us we are now UNDER HALF A WEEK AWAY from the 100-day
Christmas Day Window and the begining of a double-double digit count.
(I wouldn't exactly say I am relieved, but I am a little excited!)


Warm and humid yesterday but it wasn't too bad. No further rain, at least.
Today could be a bit wet but possibly cooler.
We record 70 degrees here, currently.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Folks!
And may the college football team of your choice prove victorious this afternoon on the gridiron.

Good morning!
I just wanted to pop in quick to say hello. My daughter arrived safely last night after a very long bus ride. The bus ride takes twice as long than if we were to drive there ourselves. They make quite a few stops. Anyway, everyone was happy to see her although my husband thought it was too soon for her to be coming back to visit since we just moved her in two weeks ago. Too bad. She's been homesick and I think she really needed this. Anyway, I'm going to sneak out of here soon to get my food shopping over with. Then the girls and I are going out for lunch. My daughter wants to visit a few friends this afternoon and then we're having dinner with my parents this evening. I'll be back at some point to catch up here. I hope everyone has a great day!
