Off to work today then going with Monica to see the new place she is moving into on October 1. Pray for her, she is leaving an abusive situation and we will have to have to police present for this move. She may have to go into a women's shelter until then if boyfriend finds out she is leaving. With a new baby and a 5 year old in tow she is taking a brave step.

Lots of prayers for Monica. She is such a strong woman for doing this and you're such a great friend for helping her get through this.

Thanks for posting, but I don't think that is your weather at the present time........am I correct?
Another busy day happening here today, got to get this four storey house into order for the dinner party! It's not in bad shape but there was a guest here for the week, so just extra laundry to do.
Must look at the menu to see which items are next on my list that is aboe to be prepared before time. I did make the Butternut Squash, Apple Soup with Curry Masala, yesterday. It's in the freezer now, and will be nice and fresh for the dinner party, as it's first course.

To each and every one of you have a GREAT day, and give thanks unto God Himself for granting us another day to live out for His Glory and Honour!

Good morning to all !!!! It's Monday morning the start of a wonderful week. Another busy week for me, but I like it that way.
Didn't get much done this past weekend except relaxing and watching football. I need to go thru my stamps and decide what I'm using for my Christmas cards this year and make sure I have all the supplies. Excited about getting started on them.

I weather is suppose to be nice this week. Hopefully the heat is gone for good.

An inexorable voyage back to the inevitable - to our beloved Christmas Season.

And frightening though it may be, we must face the fact that TOMORROW will see us through
the 100-day Christmas Window and onto the fast track through a double-double digit count right on the the
start of Christmas Season 2014.

Very pleasant yesterday. Almost too cool as I don't recall seeing it reach 70 all day.
Today should be a bit warmer and a bit wetter, as well.
Starting off the new week, we show 63 degrees here in the capital city.

6c (42f) this morning. Back door open to enjoy the nice cool fresh air. Enjoying a bowl of hot oatmeal for breakfast with a mug of ginger / lemon tea. Leave for work at 9 so have time to relax for awhile.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! We are off to a chilly start here in central Indy where it's currently 55 degree's. It looks like we will top out around 70 though. Not much going on here. I'm just going to run into the store to get some cough syrup and then it will be back home to get some stuff done around here. I'm really feeling pretty good expect for this stupid cough. My sister has seemed to get over her's but me and my niece just can't seem to get rid of it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

It did! My uncle had a triple bypass yesterday afternoon, and he came through great. He's sore (obviously), but he's going to be fine.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's so humid here, my desktop and all my papers are moist...yuck!

I finally got all my grass cut Saturday afternoon, after Jacob's early-morning gig, and my niece's early morning wedding.

Yesterday, my brother and I got the rotary cutter repaired and on the tractor, then we started cleaning up Jacob's deer-hunting area. It was going good till I decided to follow the tractor with my truck and got bogged down. Luckily, we had the tractor!

I'm ready to get the ol' Stealth Cam back out in action!

It's crocheted. The squares are crocheted in rounds, from the center out, with strategically placed front-post treble stitches forming the outlines of the holly leaves. I found the square pattern online years ago, but never did anything with it. I had to come up with a border for it and tried for an icicle effect.

Wow!! It looked knitted. Love it! Great job!

I never found out what happened! I think they were in their way to another town nearby. Prayers for all involved.

Hello folks. Just getting back in from dinner and a real nice evening on the town with my two favorite gals....It is beautiful outside right now, The temperature is supposed to dip down into the upper 40's tonight and It feels wonderful to me. We went to Bertucci's tonight and I got a shrimp and Lobster scampi dish that was wonderful~ For dessert, Italian style cheesecake.... I'm feeling really good right about now, my stomach is happy, happy, happy!!!!

We just tried to order a movie on-line thru Comcast and it is not working. Remind me to never get anything Comcast ever again, Verizion Fios is definitely a lot better. I do believe though, that where we are moving to, my choice for TV service is either Comcast, Direct-TV or the Dish. Never had the Dish or Direct TV ever before, so I have been thinking about giving them a try. Has anyone had any experiences with them?

Tomorrow, is a going to be a day where what ever happens, happens. Meaning, no plans, just hanging out around here and doing whatever....

Here at work, Direct TV constantly went out on us. Rain, Shine, storms, no reason... ~ we have Dish at the lake & I really like it, but as others have said, when it's raining really hard, or really windy we will lose signal. I have no experience with their internet package. Good luck!

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! I'm going to do my best to catch up around here ~ but you all were chatty! LOL! Hope you all had a great weekend!!

We stayed home most of the weekend, working in the house. I made a BIG batch of Ground Beef Hobo Stew, which turned out really yummy! I also made some fresh salsa, cut up & froze some tomatoes from the garden, & also froze some fresh green beans! I love having a kitchen again! :smile: Jim & friends have most of the insulation in the new room & the dry wall is sitting in our garage. Getting closer! Yesterday we went across the street to a party in the park - they had 2 bands, food, drinks, t-shirts ~ a benefit for the park. What a gorgeous day! All weekend was so fall like! My mums were delivered Saturday - they look beautiful!



And - my Gracie girl was groomed Friday:
