Well, we are again post-Milestone.
But doesn't that mean we are also pre-Milestone?
Of course.
(But more about that later)

And yes, you read that right, BOTH of our counts are now in double-digit form, meaning we have just started to enter the final approach.

Our next Milestone?
You had better get a good, tight hold on that yule log. (A non-burning one, of course.)
It's the THREE QUARTERS marker to Christmas Day and it's ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!

Quite comfortable weather was had here yestereday with nothing more than an evening sprinkle.

Hello MMC Forums!

Checking in the for the first time this year. 99 days to go would you believe it! I'm starting to think about Christmas more and more now and do some light mental planning. I graced the day by playing First Snow by Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the guitar to signal the start of my Christmas thinking for the year. I have a feeling I'll be breaking out more Christmas music starting today.

Welcome back DSR!!! TSO is one of my faves...bummed we aren't going to the show this year!

I am loving all the emails I am getting from Bath and Body Works. They have so many new fall fragrances out! They have them all on sale 2 for 22 bucks right now! I also have a coupon for 10 bucks off with a purchase of $30.00 or more. The fall fragrances are my favorite scents of the whole year. Time to head to the mall to sniff candles!!!


My favorite one!!! I went through 4 of these last year and have 2 new ones this year.

Beautiful fall weather here again.

Something pulled in my back Sunday afternoon and again last night, after it was getting better. So I'll be at the office hurting until it's time to go see the doctor. I almost never have trouble with my back, but I guess I'm old enough now to start!

I am assuming the doctor has you on prescription cough syrup? If not, I hear Delsym is one of the best to take because it last 12 hours. Or you could try those shots of whiskey I was telling you about. :lol:

Good morning! My whole family woke up LATE today (6:45 is LATE for us, lol) and I am all out of sorts!! I am hoping to be productive today, lol. It's my 9th wedding anniversary, too, so I am cooking my husband's favorites - breaded chicken, mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a late night with the kids at dance & guitar yesterday, getting home at 10:15 last night. But it was a great evening for me; we went to Hobby Lobby where I spent all my time in the Christmas section, then to dinner at Moe's (love that place), then to Wal-Mart where I bought the new Captain America DVD. What a super day!

I'm having lunch with mom today. She's going to the mountains in the morning. I'm not jealous at all. Tonight, the kids have Youth Group at church.

I didn't mean to let anyone out - I just know made & snowflake are fans of Leinenkugel (Leinie). It's a brewery in WI ~ over by snowflake. They have many flavors of beers/shandy's.

Nope. They didn't give me anything for the cough.

I've never had any look with Delsym. I know other people who swear by it though.

Oh okay! Dang! I can't drink beer. Allergic reaction since they all contain wheat/gluten! Okay, I will admit it, I just cannot drink any alcohol, low tolerance. After a few sips I will be slurring my words and if I come on here and try to type it will look like this. "Kolej ji(lthihg 9o+]-llkJ" We don't need that, do we? :lol:

Beer really does contain those ingredients I'm allergic to! I use to enjoy downing a beer once in awhile but it's been nearly 30 years since I have been able to do that.

I didn't buy any Christmas stuff yesterday, but we did pickup some Fall decorations; a scarecrow, a bale of straw, and some orange lights. We have some plastic Fall leaves, and I need to get a couple pumpkins, then I think I'm ready to decorate the front porch!

Goood (almost afternoon) MMC! It took me awhile to get caught up this morning ~ this darn work thing! :smile:

Jim, our BIL, & our electrician friend finished the insulation in the new room last night! YAY! They are planning to start on dry wall tonight! Hopefully by the weekend it will start to look like a room! I bought a couple of counter height saddle stools as extra chairs to sit around the island when we have people over. Still trying to find counter height bar stools for the island...thankfully our friend is letting us use his old ones until then! I'm not having much luck ~ it's frustrating! Lol!

Our electrician friend did stay late last night, but I did get my hiney out of bed this morning for a walk with my friend. It was great! We got just over 3 1/2 miles in. Now to keep it going. I'm really not struggling too bad today! I did crawl back in bed for a few minutes afterwards to warm up. (which is crazy for Sept. 17th! LOL)
