Christmas Countdown - 2014

Jim, our BIL, & our electrician friend finished the insulation in the new room last night! YAY! They are planning to start on dry wall tonight! Hopefully by the weekend it will start to look like a room! I bought a couple of counter height saddle stools as extra chairs to sit around the island when we have people over. Still trying to find counter height bar stools for the island...thankfully our friend is letting us use his old ones until then! I'm not having much luck ~ it's frustrating! Lol!

Our electrician friend did stay late last night, but I did get my hiney out of bed this morning for a walk with my friend. It was great! We got just over 3 1/2 miles in. Now to keep it going. I'm really not struggling too bad today! I did crawl back in bed for a few minutes afterwards to warm up. (which is crazy for Sept. 17th! LOL)

That is awesome, Holiday!! Major progress!

When we bought our house in Vegas, we went to a bar/restaurant/specialty store and special ordered our breakfast bar stools. It was great because the height was matched perfectly, as well as being able to design them ourselves and make them comfortable as well as nice-looking.

Thank you (and everyone else who has wished me better). I wouldn't say it's severe, because I can get around and drive, but it's a constant ache that's more intense when I move certain ways. I ache all over because I'm not able to move naturally. It's frustrating because it was much better yesterday, but "pulled" again in an instant when I was putting some clothing away in a drawer. I just need to get it healing properly without it recurring again.

It was a great time!!! The lodge and gift shop are beautiful!!!! Wish I would have had more room in my suitcase!!!

When I was little, our family doctor actually told my mom to give me a spoonful of whiskey when I had a bad cough. He said it cut through the gunk, wouldn't hurt me, and would help me to sleep! So there's good advice!

I have heard that before and how well it works! If I took that I would get rid of the cough then have a terrible hangover. I am so sensitive to alcohol! :lol:
