Good Morning.

Well, we are again post-Milestone.
But doesn't that mean we are also pre-Milestone?
Of course.
(But more about that later)

For now, let's examine today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day: 99

And yes, you read that right, BOTH of our counts are now in double-digit form, meaning we have just started to enter the final approach.

Our next Milestone?
You had better get a good, tight hold on that yule log. (A non-burning one, of course.)
It's the THREE QUARTERS marker to Christmas Day and it's ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!

Whew!
Let's change the topic before we swoon.

Quite comfortable weather was had here yestereday with nothing more than an evening sprinkle.
It should be dry today and the humidity should not be overly high.
We are currently at 68 degrees here in central NC.

OK.
Place: The Pines.
The director: Carl.
The enticement: "Double-Double Deal Day".

Yes, in honor of reaching a double-double digit count, Carl and crew have decreed the first TWO fired twinkies and glasses of sweet tea will be free and all purchases will be two for the price of one.
(Double-up, everyone!)

And with that happy thought, have a Wildly Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Happy "Double" Day!!!

Hello MMC Forums!

Checking in the for the first time this year. 99 days to go would you believe it! I'm starting to think about Christmas more and more now and do some light mental planning. I graced the day by playing First Snow by Trans-Siberian Orchestra on the guitar to signal the start of my Christmas thinking for the year. I have a feeling I'll be breaking out more Christmas music starting today.

Hope everybody is doing well!

It is great to see you, welcome back!!!

Happy Wednesday-Pines Day-Hump Day!

Beautiful fall weather here again.

Something pulled in my back Sunday afternoon and again last night, after it was getting better. So I'll be at the office hurting until it's time to go see the doctor. I almost never have trouble with my back, but I guess I'm old enough now to start!
ouch, I will be praying it heals quickly. It is so hard to get around when your back hurts. ((((HUGS))))

Good morning! My whole family woke up LATE today (6:45 is LATE for us, lol) and I am all out of sorts!! I am hoping to be productive today, lol. It's my 9th wedding anniversary, too, so I am cooking my husband's favorites - breaded chicken, mashed potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts.

ENjoy the day!!

sounds like a wonderful dinner, enjoy!

Oh okay! Dang! I can't drink beer. Allergic reaction since they all contain wheat/gluten! Okay, I will admit it, I just cannot drink any alcohol, low tolerance. After a few sips I will be slurring my words and if I come on here and try to type it will look like this. "Kolej ji(lthihg 9o+]-llkJ" We don't need that, do we?

Beer really does contain those ingredients I'm allergic to! I use to enjoy downing a beer once in awhile but it's been nearly 30 years since I have been able to do that.

Thanks for sharing the link!!! Very interesting flavors!
I can't drink beer either, I think it tastes awful, and alcohol does the same thing to me which is why I only have a glass of wine once in awhile. So we will stick with other drinks and stay away from the key board ! LOL

Good Evening, Buddy!!! Hope all is going well!!!!

xx

All is " a-ok " :)

Palmer is doing fine ~ napping on her snowflake polar fleece blanket as I type. Thank you for asking! {{{HUGS}}}

DSR147, good to see you! I love TSO!

Holiday, thank you for posting the recipe!
I'm not a beer drinker, but the Cranberry Ginger Shandy sounds good. I might have to try one!

MerryCarey, I'm sorry you hurt your back! I hope you are better soon!

Made, I hope you are better soon! It was a rather nice day here, too, but still damp enough in the house to have the heat on. Boo! I was really hoping to wait until mid-October before having to use the furnace. Tomorrow it is only going to be in the upper 50s here ~ will probably have to cover the garden tomorrow night.

Judesmama, a very Happy Anniversary to you and your husband!
