Who knows, indeed?
Oh, such excitement. It will be like Christmas morning, although I don't know which morning there will be presents underneath the Tree!

Who knows, indeed?
guess I had better buy that new snow shovel!Ok folks. I just saw that there was a posting on Foots Forecast about the winter weather predicition for the mid-atlantic area and it is going to be a wonderful winter if you love snow. Their prediction has fallen right in line with what Accuweather had predicted. If you don't like snow, better pack up and head to Florida, because it's a coming.....
http://www.footsforecast.org/
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? The fast, clean version of our early projection:
- A much wetter, snowier winter for the Mid-Atlantic, resembling 2009-2010.
- A cooler summer in the Arctic, Canada and eastern US could signal an earlier start to winter weather - with the first significant accumulation of snow for the Mid-Atlantic by mid November.
- In contrast to 2013-14, the eastern U.S. should see less ice storms and major cold blasts, courtesy of a slightly warmer influence from El Nino.
Here is a picture of my 2 rescue dogs. Maris (brown and white dog) was the one we found wandering the streets in our neighborhood. She would come visit me everyday at my house for nearly a month before I took her in. We have had her now for over a year and no more wandering the streets! Niles, the chihuahua, was adopted from the animal shelter back in March. He was a scraggly little mess, hurt leg and underweight. He is doing fantastic now and plumped up a bit! They are best buddies!!! They are my best buddies too!!!

Good evening, everyone!
I am currently laying on my bed with Simon. Kim is out searching for a baby gate in order to allow Simon to roam the apartment more freely. He is currently wearing a cone around his head and his paws are a little sore. We had him declawed along with getting him fixed. The decision hurt us a lot, but we did not want to risk him (accidentally) scratching our future children - assuming we do have children sometime. Unfortunately, because of our precaution, Simon's recovery time is a little longer now. Hopefully he will be back at full health by Monday, at least we would love to be able to remove his cone by then... Thankfully, he is doing much better with it today than yesterday. Poor guy. Also, thank you to everyone for sending positivity Simon's way. He has been nothing but a Big Guy today.
Not much happening tonight. I still have to make dinner. I will begin as soon as Kim returns. It is suppose to get down to -1c tonight with the windchill. Yep. I think this may be the first time we dip below freezing since the beginning of April. That's how it goes in Canada!
As of right now, I don't yet have a teaching position for tomorrow. I spoke with my manager at Passport. He was incredibly supportive my teaching and said to call in over the next week and a bit if I get a job elsewhere. Awesome!
Well, Kim is back. Time to start a late dinner. Hope everyone has enjoyed their Thursday. We are one day away from another fantastic weekend. And, of course, who knows what could "Blossom" next week?![]()

Good evening,
I finished catching up tonight, after I couldn't get back on the site last night.
I had a day off yesterday, but I have also come down with a nasty cold that is just zapping any energy I have. I bought some cold medicine yesterday and took it, it was right next to the Dayquil, it had the same color label but it was the generic version. I took it when I got home and it knocked me out. It didn't say anywhere on the front of the label about drowsiness, but I was in a coma from this stuff. I was on MMC when I fell asleep, laptop on my lap ready to peruse the posts. I woke up 90 minutes later to the bus outside blaring it's horn. We have to be outside when the kids get dropped off for safety reasons, I must have looked like a drunk walking out to get the kids, swaying and stumbling down the stairs. I felt so embarrassed.
When I got home from work today, the book I ordered came in. It is called "The Christmas Vault" From what I have looked at it so far it is a real fun book, very interactive. It has a lot of vintage pictures, postcards, even some magnets with vintage pictures on them. I have enjoyed looking at it so far, but I really can't wait to fully dive into it.

The finest man I ever knew died yesterday. In my 56 years I was always secure in knowing that whenever I needed him, he would be there. Throughout my life he modeled God's by loving me unconditionally while expecting nothing in return. I love you and will miss you terribly dad.

Very cool! Thank God for technology! It kept me sane while living in Nevada.
Hope she's doing well [emoji258]
