Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening, friends! How are you all? I am well, just been very busy. Hope you are all well. Sorry I haven't been checking in - DH and I both have been working extra this week and doing a lot of running with the kids, which is most important, so just know that you're all in my prayers!

Tonight would usually be my night to work, with the weekend, but I had to work for one of my friends the other night, so we switched and she is working tonight. I will still work tomorrow night, then be off Sunday night, which will be nice.

Dawg: I hear you're back! Wonderful news! Glad to hear you had a safe trip back. Enjoy the time with Brandy and the boys!

Mgramsey: So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Know that I am keeping you and you're family in prayer. Lots of love and (((hugs)))

The finest man I ever knew died yesterday. In my 56 years I was always secure in knowing that whenever I needed him, he would be there. Throughout my life he modeled God's by loving me unconditionally while expecting nothing in return. I love you and will miss you terribly dad.

I am so sorry for your loss, I will keep you in my thoughts.

We are so excited! The pumpkin patch opens this weekend at the Arboretum. Since we are members of the Arboretum we are allowed to visit before they open to the general public at 9 am. For members we can come as early as 7 am. We hope to get up early to beat the crowd.


Not sure how it's displayed this year but here is a picture from the past.

I will get an updated picture to share as soon as we go.

I'm still nursing a headache that I've had for 3 days. I know it's coming from my neck, so I'm thinking about going to the chiro soon. Ugh.

We have another busy weekend lined up, with Elizabeth dancing and Jacob playing in his band.

First of all: Our family computers are down so I am am stuck using my crappy phone so if you thought I had errors before just you wait!! I am tyring I promise!

I got home yesterday and I want to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers while I was gone, to be honest It was hard while I was gone and I hardly had time to do anything but work...the military is not the same as it was 20 years ago when I joined, but I guess you could say that about any corp these days. Anywho... I am waiting for fall to arrive...it's still mild and everythin is till green. Usually the changes occur in eearly to mid October! I missed yall so much but I am back and I have 2 weeks until I go back to service. Brandi has gone back to teaching in early august and loves it, I will change the hours I work to I can stay home with my boys and work in the afternoon and night!!! can't wait to meet the new members here and talk to my old pals..it's been 4 years this month since I joined! TTYL!

Great to see you home!!!

One more day until a day off, it is needed, this cold is just knocking me on my butt. We started watching our Halloween DVDs tonight, "Scared Shrekless" was our leadoff hitter for 2014. It is a good one, we all enjoy Shrek here. We will be decorating for Halloween on Sunday, we are trying to get ahead this year since last year we never really did much decorating until later on and only watched a limited number of Halloween shows.

I am going to hit my coma juice and get to bed.
