Morning All!

It is grey and misty out. I have my frosted pine scented candle burning

Isaac just had his weekly session. The appointments are at home now so it makes things easier. I am just having a herbal tea before I start with today's things to do.

HomakinGirl - Thinking of you. I hope people are not giving you a hard time or 'flak' as you put it. Remember you know what is best for your family and your situation. As for your hubby , I am sure he will come around after he has had time to think things over. Hang in there!

working, but off at 3;30, I like getting off early, makes it feel like I still have time to do stuff
Most of my fall cleaning is all done, I prefer it to spring cleaning, this way I am all set for Christmas !

Have a great day CS - good idea about the fall cleaning to be ready for Christmas! Once our project is done, I will have plenty of "fall" cleaning to do! Lol ~ dust!

Oh man, the bed and warm covers felt mighty fine this morning at 4:45am!

Got up this morning to a cool, crisp Fall morning of 45 degrees F. Wow, Almost turned around when I walked outside the house morning to go back in and grab a jacket to wear....What a way to welcome in the Fall!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the low 70's. It's a bit chilly out there right now though. Had to turn the fan in the window off for a bit. Not to much going on today. Just some work around the apartment and on the computer. I might do some baking too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Evening all. I have been very idle today lol But those days are rare for me so I'm not going to feel guilty. I have been looking at Christmas trees today. I would like to buy one soon so that I can check it off my list.

Browsing the trees got me so excited. It made me want to decorate!!! I will compensate my by putting up my Halloween decorations soon.

Good morning MMC! Happy 1st full day of Fall!!! Chill is in the air!! They need to get our gas line at home hooked up before too long, cuz I think we will be wanting some heat in the house sooner rather than later!! Although the 10 day forecast looks gorgeous!!

A friend of ours works for a door company - he was over last night hanging our new interior doors. What a difference that makes! He will be back tonight to finish! :grin: Another step closer... I took Gracie for a walk last night, just to keep her out of our friends hair - she did pretty well. Maybe she'll get this walking thing down yet?!

I am typing one-fingered because of my hand surgery yesterday. It is painful, but I know it will get better. When I can maneuver better, I will tell you how at one point my BP was 203/154--what happened and why. SCARY, because my BP is normally 117/70! We are going to be out of town until Friday, and will be in meetings and Elks Lodge inspections.

I know I have not done my Christmas duty for a while, but I do want you to know how much you all mean to me. I was reminded of this yesterday when I arrived home from the hospital. In the mail, there was a special card from Meceka, a thinking-of-you sentiment making me realize how much we mean to each other and how we care about the personal lives of our members. Mary (and really, all of you) are so caring--I just don't know how to express it. The full name of the Elks is Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks--in short, BPOE, which many Elks members say also stands for Best People on Earth. Well, here at MMC and on the Countdown, is where the Best People on Earth really make their home. I am proud to know you all!

I can't imagine a BP that high without having a stroke...bless your heart!
